Expedia also needs to be more transparent about what floor an apt is on. Fifth floor walk up was revealed by the manager on her shrill call, saying not her job to inform “agency” of such information. The apt was ok the experience was dismal.

Great view, comfort in the old city.

Come ready to pound the hills - Porto is a great place to get fit just walking around! This apartment was right in the western part of the old town and gives a GREAT authentic feel of what makes Porto special - narrow, steep winding medieval streets and stairways. Apartment itself is modern, air-conditioned and has a great view west over the river. I would stay here again!

no sink plug for washing up, and slight smell of smoke from previous guests smoking when they shouldn't. Otherwise good location. Builders working nearby woke us at 8 one morning with drilling, but otherwise it was ok.

This Porto apartment was a wonderful gem, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We were here in September 2018, and the weather was perfect. The 4th floor unit provides the most spectacular view of the Duoro River, and I was amazed how closeby this apartment was to the city center. Thank you Sofia!

A tired but happy traveler

The location and view were perfect. Everything is updated and nice. Be sure to contact the manager as to when you might arrive or you may be sitting there for hours. The apartment was 80 stair steps up. Be sure to pack light or ask for a lower apartment.

Great views!

The best feature about the apartment is the view from the top floors. Amazing! The location is quite central, but hard to reach, you have to go up and down the hills. Also, if you are driving, parking is really difficult.

Great getaway in Porto

Nice apartment in Porto. Convenient location to the major sites & attractions. Clean & comfortable. We had the 5th floor room - amazing views. There is no elevator, which I sometimes missed after a long day of walking around Porto. The shower was a little small, by American standards, but other than that it was fine - hot water and good water pressure. It was nice having a small kitchen in the room, though the food is so good in Porto, we never took much advantage of it.

Best view ever.

We stayed on the fifth floor with thre big windws that you can throw open to the river, the sea gulls, the early morning fog and the view. And I mean the VIEW.

Excellent stay in a well-equipped and modern apartment. Great service, and the location is close to the Rebeiro yet quiet. Minor quibbles are the bathroom being poorly ventilated and the tv being tiny with bad sound. But hey, you're not there to watch tv.

Would love to stay there again. Clean, newly remodeled, balcony view of the river, glass of port on check-in. Caution: there are stairs to climb and, if you can't walk steep streets, take a taxi to the door. (But then, you;d have to take a taxi everywhere you go.) ;

Had a lovely time. Location was good- close enough without being too noisy. Apartment was great, but shower was put in by someone very tall! Sofia was very helpful. Would stay there again.

The place was in a great location with great view of the river. Within walking distance to the old town and Sao Bento station. Very well setup. Sofia is most helpful.

Very good location, but parking is hard to find. The owner, Gonzalo, was wonderful. He went with my husband and they finally found a spot. It is an up and down area - lots of hills, but also a lot to see within a short walk. The apartment didn't "wow" me with anything, but it was certainly serviceable and did the job. Quiet street, decent mattress (but terrible pillows), thoughtful kitchen (they provided coffee for the coffee maker!).

Comfortable modern apartment

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed all modern comforts in the heart of old Porto. Driving and parking can be a challenge but nothing is impossible. The hotel staff checked us in and freed up a parking space. The place is equipped with everything you need if you choose to cook your own meals but should you decide to go out, all the great dining is right at your fingertips.

What a great apartment! Close to the action and still very quiet. The apartment was great, all of the things you need to make a meal with a quick trip to the grocery. Very spacious apartment. Quite a few hills if you walk from public transit but worth it!
