Check in was great, the food and drinks were excellent. The room wasnt fully cleaned, hair in bathroom drain and bathroom not very clean. Counter was dirty as well, but everything else was fine. They charged me from somethibg from the mini bar yet I didnt take anything. I had snacks, drinks and food so the mini bar/ snax were unnecessary. I still really like the hotel and would try it one more time.

We arrived at our room and it was uncomfortably cold. Front desk staff told us the hotel was having a problem with its HVAC system. They offered us a radiator-style space heater but warned us we could not put it on high or risk an electrical failure. We were told the room would be comped and then we checked out a day early because we were uncomfortably cold overnight (it was a very cold night). We're now being told the person who said the room would be comped didn't have the authority to do that, and now we may have to pay a penalty for checking out one night early. We've stayed here a couple of times before but if they don't make this right, never again. And maybe never again no matter what.

While the room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable, the room was right next to a very noisy street, and the windows are single paned with no curtains, so there was no protection from the noise or light of the city, and it was quite drafty. My spouse and I literally could not sleep and had to cancel our plans because of it. The room had some expensive details in it that we felt would have been spent on better windows , curtains, and insulation.
