En el corazón de las playas del desembarco, entre Arromanches y Colleville sur mer (cementerio americano), a 9 km de Bayeux, a 35 km de Caen, le ofrecemos en un antiguo edificio de pescadores en el paseo marítimo, un apartamento con un ambiente marino clasificado 4 llaves por Clévacances ubicado en primer piso su superficie es de aproximadamente 55m².
El edificio fue completamente renovado en 2016.
Se compone de una gran sala de estar con cocina equipada con vistas al mar, comedor para 4 personas, un sofá convertible de alta calidad para dormir (colchón de 15 cm), un dormitorio con cama doble, una sala de TV con un gran sofá de esquina VISTA AL MAR, y una nueva característica en 2019, un baño con una gran ducha XXL 180x80 con wc, bodega privada.

The hostess and host were most accommodating. This was the first time in 2 months and 13 rentals that we were greeted in person. This is quite helpful because the idiosyncrasies of equipment in each apartment is often a challenge. This was the most carefully designed accommodation. We needed nothing more to merely move in. Even the normal annoyances of rental units ( minimal amount of toilet tissue, minimal coffee, no cooking spices, no clothes washing detergent, etc) were not an issue here. Everything was provided for us. It is amazing how minimal these provisions are in most rental when it would be so inexpensive to provide those conveniences. Congratulations to this hostess for being so thoughtful. They were available throughout our stay and we hope that we will be able to return one day. Wonderful town, wonderful apartment

Beyond our expectations and better than advertised. Geraldine met us upon check in and provided great guidance. The apartment is emmaculate and in a special location overlooking the historical basin. Convenient to the Normandie beaches, this quaint village is truly a gem. Thank-you Geraldine.

Beautiful Apartment in Charming Village Centrally Located

The apartment is beautifully decorated, very clean and well cared for. Geraldine met with us personally for the check in and was very helpful in explaining how everything worked in the apartment and providing information about the area. We loved the apartment and the village where it’s located and would gladly stay there again.

Effet "wouaouh" garanti !

Vacances reposantes (lieu calme avec vue sur mer), enrichissantes (musées et plages du débarquement) et sportives (golf). Que rechercher de plus ? L' accueil de Géraldine est au top (explicatifs, topo sur la région et activités, ....) et l'appartement est magnifique (propre, fonctionnel et bien équipé). Le marché du Dimanche matin permet de faire aisément ses courses pour la semaine (pas besoin d'aller dans les hypers de Bayeux bien qu'à 15 minutes de route seulement. Pour qui souhaite allier sport (golf ou vélo ou marche), culture historique (Overlord), c'est une destination à ne pas manquer !

Everything was perfect! Host was there to meet us, she showed us around the apartment. She spoke English which was helpful me as I don’t speak French. Host had maps marked out of site to visit in the area. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

Wonderful!!

The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures and even better in person. My husband and I were blown away by the beauty of the apartment and its location. From our first night we were discussing when we might be able to come back. The town of Port en Bessin is just as wonderful. It is a smaller village but has everything you need and within walking distance. Every morning my husband walked to the bakery to get us breakfast. We dined at two seafront restaurants that were a 2 minute walk down the street that had outside seating where you can watch the sunset. We also made a trip to the grocery for drinks and snacks. We would for sure stay here again and Geraldine was fantastic! Met us at check in and went over all the things the area had to offer all of which we took her advice on! This is truly a gem in the heart of Normandy! 10/10

Wonderful Waterfront Apartment in Perfect Port Setting

We had a wonderful time in Port-en-Bessin due in large part to this lovely apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable and per the description. Our host was quick to help with any questions and offered suggestions for a market, restaurants, and attractions. We loved being so close to the water and watching the boats go in and out of port each day. The local restaurants provide quality food with a lot of variety. It was enjoyable to just walk along the port and visit all the little shops and grab a coffee or snack. Highly recommend this property!

La perfection n'existe pas mais ....

Une réservation au hasard, accroché par des photos et un emplacement idéal. Au final tout y est, pas de surprise, pas de mensonge ! Appartement idéalement placé, avec tout l'équipement dans les moindres détails et surtout une propreté parfaite. On se sent attendu et respecté, merci aux propriétaires, ils aiment faire plaisir à leurs hôtes. Rien de mieux pour apprécier un moment de détente.

Amazing location!

The location couldn't have been better! Everything was as advertised - especially the view! Geraldine met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. She even had English language literature for nearby sights and local food and beverages for us to try. It was the perfect location for visiting the WW2 beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry and Mont St Michel. The market on Sunday and the daily fish market were amazing. Great restaurants and shops are all just a few steps away. You can relax and just watch the boats, the tide and the water birds all day. Parking the car was easy and free except for Bastille Day when they had certain restrictions due to the fireworks. There is one flight of stairs to the apartment. We highly recommend this rental!

Excellent central location and access to most regional sites. Restaurants and shops all in walking distance. The restaurants, bakeries and shops were excellent. Watching the tides and fishing boats going out and coming back was special.

Communication et accueil excellent avec Géraldine, qui est de très bon conseil L'appartement est superbe, avec tous les équipements nécessaires, et même plus ! Les petites attentions avec cadeau gourmand dans le réfrigérateur sont très agréables . La vue est splendide, avec jumelles à disposition . L'appartement est au calme, mais en 2 mn , vous êtes au centre de tout : commerces, port, marché Enfin la situation de Port-en-Bessin est idéale pour aller visiter tous les sites du Débarquement Je conseille et recommande vivement !

Beautiful apartment

We had an amazing stay in this darling apartment right on the water. We were able to walk everywhere in town and it was an easy drive to the WWII beaches we were interested in seeeing. Geraldine was an amazing hostess and answered all our questions before we arrived and met us upon arrival to give us helpful tips about where to eat and visit. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay

We just had 4 nights here and it was one of the best VRBO we have experienced. Geraldine was helpful and quick to respond from the moment we booked. She met us on arrival to help us settle in and provided us with useful information regarding the area. This is the perfect location to explore the D day beaches…in the middle of all the beaches and close to Bayeux. As for the unit we were impressed. It was like the pictures and even better. Modern kitchen with everything you need including spices. We’ll equip bathroom with beautiful shower. Cozy comfortable bedroom and nice view over the harbour…and lots of restaurants within a short walking distance We highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Normandy

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit ein paar Kompromissen

Unser Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr schön, was der netten Begrüßung und der tollen Lage der Unterkunft zu verdanken ist. Kleine Kritikpunkte für uns waren, das die Matratze im Schlafzimmer sehr durchgelegen war und das die Nachbarn sehr gut zu hören sind. In unserem Fall waren die letzten drei Tage die Waschmaschine von 6 Uhr morgens bis 3 Uhr nachts durchlief. Vorallem gut zu bemerken an der vibrierenden Küchenlampe und Dunstabzugshaube.

Our host thought of everything!

Geraldine is an incredible host. She thought of every detail so we wouldn’t miss anything we needed from home. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The fishing village is very quaint and nicely located with easy access to the WWII beaches and Bayeux and Caen. I would highly recommend a stay at Geraldine’s place.

Parfait pour un (très) long weekend !

Nous avons séjourné quelques jours lors de la nouvelle année dans cet appartment. L'accueil de Géraldine a été parfait et ses conseils très judicieux (que ce soit pour les excursions dans les environs, les restaurants, la réservation du plateau de fruits de mer avant notre arrivée...). Nous avons vraiment apprécié la destination qui restait vivante malgré la basse saison.

Bonne position de l'appartement

L'appartement était propre et agréable. On avait tout à porté de notre main. Géraldine était très informative et sympa. Le seul ennui était que nous avions des voisins qui étaient bruyant de temps en temps mais ce n'est pas la faute à Géraldine. On a passé comme même un bon séjour.
