This “resort” was bad, we booked a 5 day vacation here in Jan of 2026 for my 50th birthday. It’s almost a 2 hour drive from San Juan. Once we arrived there were a bunch of drunk locals partying in the front entrance. We checked in and our room was like we stepped back to 1991. Old everything and dirty. We went to the “restaurant “ and it was rough. Didn’t like the ammeties or the look of the food options so we went to the outside bar/restaurant. There were a lot of people there but none of them were staying at the “resort”?? The staff was severely overwhelmed and there was dishes, drinks trash everywhere. We ordered chicken tenders and fries assuming that was the safe bet. Took forever to come and it was not good at all. We decided that we weren’t going to stay at this dump so we contacted Travelocity and they spoke to the hotel to get us a full refund. The icing on the cake was the main pool was closed for repairs, our room balcony over looked a bunch of workers tearing out concrete right under it. Imaging having your coffee with construction noise super loud right outside your balcony. This place needs a complete renovation or it needs to be shutdown. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I almost forgot the casino, smelly, old and none of the people gambling were guests they were all locals. Very weird vibe.
We ended up booking an awesome Airbnb condo in San Juan right on a the beach and had a great experience. Please don’t stay at this resort!
