Honestly, one of the worst experiences of my life. The room had a weird mould stench and the extractor fan in the shower was broken and when turning on the light, it would run for an hour and not turn off meaning I was not able to sleep. The toilet cistern system also had a leak and I could it leaking 24/7. I checked in at midnight, so was there to only to sleep but honestly I'd given up at that point and was out by 8am the next morning.

Room was smalll compared to many other times we have stayed there noisy radiator was told the first night that they would move us the next day showed them a live video of the noise had to get up 3 times during the night to turn down then when complained said no other rooms available so had to sleep with no heat with our coats on

OK but not rushing back..

Parking v limited and expensive on road if you can’t get in car park which was the case for us. No wifi .. internet was down throughout hotel. No gardens it outside space sadly. Staff were friendly but didn’t seem to be any urgency to get wifi fixed and I needed to do some work. It’s an old hotel with nice friendly staff and the rate was good so that saved it!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Room slightly dated in terms of decor but bathrooms were modern and spotless. Staff was professional, welcoming and friendly - particularly Pippa in reception and Khayse in the breakfast room.

On entering the hotel from the limited car park through the scaffolding and into the rear of the hotel we thought it was going to be a let down but the room was large clean and very relaxing although dated. Breakfast was very nice well cooked and of a good quality. The reception staff were very nice and welcoming so we left feeling happy and relaxed 😊
