Room faced a small courtyard and had no natural light. Noise from the courtyard made it difficult to rest. A staff member named William who claimed to be the manager was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful to an extent that was surprising for someone who has chosen to work in the hotel industry. Responded with a terse “no” without explanation or apology for basic, simple requests that are routinely granted at other properties. Even if these were not possible, this level of unprofessionalism was uncalled for and off-putting. In addition, room was not very clean - sticky residue was visible on the nightstand. No lotion in the room. Furniture chipped and beginning to appear dated. Few healthy options at breakfast. Overall, a not-so-pleasant stay. The price was quite similar to that of the Oaklander where several friends stayed - substantially nicer with much better customer service. Will not be staying at this property again.
