Good resort though some cleanliness and renovations should be considered. We stayed at the villa and it needs more attention to details. Pool should be open until later in the night an bus shuttle to Kamala center too. If you stay here you should know that you will need to rent a motorbike or pay 200 one way to Kamala beach center.

Beautiful Property, Hillside with amazing pool views. Breakfast Buffet was the best out of all our stops. Only downfall was cleanliness of room, had to go to the front desk twice to get them to clean room properly. Floors were not mopped after last guest only swept so after walking barefoot our feet were disgusting and dirty foot prints in bath tub left by maid.

We really enjoyed our stay at Namaka! The staff were so kind and welcoming. Everyone was so kind to our baby and the cleaning staff even brought a baby bath tub for us to use. They had a portable crib set up in our room that was great as well. You are a bit outside of town but there is a free shuttle once an hour that we used to go to the beach. There is also a bit of a rockier beach just down the hill in front of the hotel that we enjoyed walking along. We had read some worrying reviews before our stay but were overall very happy - yes some parts of the resort are a bit tired but we were still pleased with the price we paid. View from the property is amazing! We ordered room service once and it arrived within 20 minutes and we also ate at the restaurant a few times because it was convenient with our baby - always enjoyed!

This isn’t a five star hotel at all. Our room was stinking mole and drane. Dirty areas and bad service from front desk. However the staff that was driving the cars were super nice and very service minded.

At first glance the property seems nice. But upon further examination it is dirty. The food was expensive and bland. At night music was loud and walls are very thin. The house keeping, bellhops and dining staff are very friendly. Based on the price and overall experience I would not recommend this resort.

Avoid This Hotel – Not Worth the Money! I had an extremely disappointing stay at this so-called five-star hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were rude, unwelcoming, and lacked basic hospitality. It was clear that guest satisfaction was not a priority, and their attitude made the entire experience unpleasant. Breakfast was dull with very limited options, and to make matters worse, the chef refused to serve bacon due to his personal religious beliefs. In an international hotel, I expect a variety of food choices that cater to all guests, not just specific preferences. Housekeeping was just as bad—an empty bottle was left in my bathroom for two days. The pool was filthy and clearly not well-maintained, which was disappointing given the hotel’s modern decor. Despite its appearance, the hotel desperately needs proper maintenance, as wear and tear are visible throughout the property. The location is another major downside. It’s quite remote, making it difficult to get around. The hotel shuttle service stops at 6 PM, and without it, I had to pay 400 Baht just to get to Kamala Beach for dinner. Unfortunately, dining options outside the hotel are very limited, making it even more inconvenient. While Kamala Beach itself is okay, the surrounding area is dirty and has a strong smell of rubbish, which takes away from the experience. For anyone visiting Phuket for the first time and hoping for a great experience, steer clear of this resort and the area!

The property is nestled on the beachfront and very close to Kamala beach. The sea view from the room was breathtaking and the infinity pool was quite amazing. The hourly shuttle service to the beach is also good and adds comfort to your trip to the beach. The staff is also very humble and gentle. Though the food options are quite vast however vegetarian options are very few and thats the only negative i felt. The major saviour is bread, fruits and one or two pure veg dishes. We were travelling with our child and found it a bit difficult to cater to her food requirements. Other than that the overall experience was quite amazing.

Staff are lovely but the hotel and resort are in a terrible state of disrepair - needs maintenance everywhere you look - rotten wood, pool tiles falling off, peeling paint, very noisy aircon even when switched off Not worth the money we paid and certainly not as advertised
