RUN… Do not rent this place!
We arrived at the condo around 5:30 on check-in day. Immediately we noticed that it smelled like gas, the light switches would shock you & that the hot tub was very dirty. We notified the management company that we had to open the doors to try to air out the unit because of the gas & of the other concerns. We also notified them that the receiver box was located within a foot of the fireplace so we were not able to turn the fireplace on due to their being a combustible material being right in front of an open flame. I spent over an hour taking pictures and messaging them. They responded that night & said they would send someone out to look at the hot tub (they did say that the fireplace install was okay but whenever I asked for documentation of this being an acceptable way to install the receiver box they never did- they just replied that this is a standard installation method. However, my husband works for a homebuilder & said that is absolutely false & not to use the fireplace). The next morning, all 4 of us woke up with major headaches & messaged them to tell them that we were checking out due to safety concerns & asked for a refund for the remaining 2 nights. We didn’t hear back from them until AFTER our checkout time saying that everything was fine and they would only refund 30% of the 1st night. They knew we left and waited until after our checkout time to say that it was safe to come back, but won’t refund anything for the night we had to pay for a hotel to stay at.
