The staff here are phenomenal and genuinely kind people! They have rooms in the basement that are a little noisy depending on how close they are to the spa and maintenance but otherwise we loved it.

A lovely hotel. Excellent location close to lots of key sights to visit. Staff were friendly and the room was spacious. We’d definitely recommend going for dinner at Au Chien Qui Fume which is close by as the food was delicious. The only downside is that there was renovation going on in the main reception area so it was noisy at times and the builders got in the way coming and going from the hotel. Obviously we understand it has to be done and some point and it was bad timing as it coincided with our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel.

It’s a good bargain.

We received an upgrade at check in. The room was spacious and well-appointed, but the view was of the building across a dark alley. Our reservation was for a street facing room. Other than this, the staff were great, the room was lovely, and the location was right in the middle of all the fun. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend a bit of time in Paris.

This is a gem of a property closely situated next to the Louvre. The staff was excellent. Our room was large by Paris standards (25 square meters) and we were upgraded. Bathroom was large with double sink. Bed was comfortable. Two large windows overlooking the street. Breakfast was worth it. Mix of pastries, fresh coffees, fruit, local cheeses and meat and classics. Staff is very knowledgeable and provided good recommendations. Well worth a return visit!

Great location at a fair price.

Comfortable hotel at a great location. Lots of great restaurants with in a short walking distance. The room was the perfect size, but could use some updates. A broken mirror in the living area, flickering lights in the ceiling and the toilet flushing needed some convincing to stop flushing when done.

We traveled to L'Empire in Nov 2023 for our birthdays (my partner and I) we were met at the front desk with a very warm reception from all the staff. We were told they had upgraded our room! The room was amazing! The entire hotel was beautiful! Every single staff member we met was so polite and wanted to help us in any way they could. The said hello/bonjour everytime they saw us and good evening/ bon soir at night. We were in walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Metro. There were so many amazing restaurants around us! Our entire room was exquisite! We have told many people to stay there if they go to Paris. We will definitely return!
