The staff is OUTSTANDING! We had the absolute best service we've ever experienced. From front desk - to waiters - to valets - to housekeeping - EVERYONE was very proactively involved in making sure our stay was perfect. The location is also excellent, with easy beach access, and lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. A HUGE BONUS was the FREE valet parking! We've never experienced that before!! The only downside is the hotel itself. It's a bit old, and while it still feels somewhat luxurious, it comes across as pretty dated. The marble floors have cracks, the furnishings are pretty old school, and the overall vibe is a bit dark and heavy.

Service at the hotel was great except for the rooftop bar. The service there was terrible but great in the rest of the hotel. The staff was super friendly and the hotel was beautiful.

Nice and clean room (#308), but I thought the room was configured oddly because the bed blocks the door to the balcony. I would have positioned the bed the other way around (but that's just me). Staff are very attentive and seem to enjoy and happy with their job. Although our room was facing the main street, it was very quiet. The beach is perfect for swimming, very calm/very small waves and clear water.

First time here and the area is unique and we really enjoyed it. Walking out of the hotel and being surrounded by shops and restaurants and no cars was a treat. Great dining options. Hotel staff generally were 100% on top of things. Always smiling and helpful. Only thing was that our complimentary keurig was not replaced twice. We called downstairs and they actually sent us a nice fresh pot of coffee. Other thing was that we booked a town view and were given a room with a view of the back of other homes. I mentioned it and they said that it qualified as town view. Ugh. Otherwise it was great. Concierge was always helpful. Thanks Wendy Rooms are spacious and plenty of drawers. Nice robes beach bag with towels for beach. Yoga mat in room. We plan to be back.
