Spoilt by loud drinking Germans

Not a good start when we were asked for a hundred euro deposit we were not expecting. The receptionist was very condescending and said we could go to the nearby cash machine. Most nights of our short stay we were awoken by loud, drunken Germans returning in the early hours of the morning from a night out. This was not helped by the fact that you practically had to slam the hotel doors to shut them and the thin walls through which you could hear nearly everything. In addition they also took over the pool area every afternoon - drinking and playing their music loudly, as well as jumping or pushing people in. Although they were asked to turn it down and thankfully the pool closed at 8pm it did mean others could not really use the area. However, location of the hotel was good for the beach and restaurants (if you are on a club 18-30 style holiday and German). The hotel looks as though it I’d been fairly recently refurbished and was clean. The beds were firm but comfortable and the price (apart from the deposit) was right. Breakfasts were fine with plenty of choice, although the coffee machine only seemed to give coffee with sugar already in it. However, the holiday was spoilt by the behaviour of a few and some definitely did not help the reputation of the hotel by drinking and shouting on the terrace at the front of the hotel and in reception as others arrived. Had I known that Arenal was the German equivalent of Magaluf I would have gone somewhere else but it was cheap!

Room was big and clean - wifi was good and breakfast was excellent. This hotel is very popular with young Germans who like most young people can be pretty noisy.

Nice hotel

We weren’t in the room much. But it was a very clean room and hotel. Close to the beach and a few minutes walk from a Mercadona and on the corner is a great cafe with amazing coffee and beer.

Get What You Pay For

The hotel is just a short walk from the beach with supermarket type shops on your doorstep. It's worth including breakfast into your stay at the hotel, as we found this saved us money and was prepared to an acceptable standard. We also found the section of beach the hotel was by to have better shops and restaurants than the other sections of the strip. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean. I highly recommend the bar/restaurant Bonito which is fairly close by! Now for the bad bits - the pool is tiny and is in the shade for most of the day (July), with only a few sunbeds to lounge around on. This isn't a problem if you are planning on going to the beach, but if you want to spend your holiday around the pool I would look elsewhere. Furthermore, the hotel is mostly (if not completely) used by young German party seekers that can be very noisy during the night. I am a heavy sleeper and was not effected, however my partner is not and her sleep was very disrupted. The final point I would like to make here is that the hotel does not have air conditioning. If you like to be cool at night then an electric fan provided by the hotel is the best you are going to get. In conclusion, we were happy with the experience at the hotel - for the money that it cost. If you are willing to put up with a few things its really not bad. However if you want something a little more luxurious I would dig a little deeper into your pocket and look elsewhere.

Huge lick from wall when start rain. Reported in reception and member of staff checked that. We had another room after 24 hours of rain and flood in our room.

The hotel was lovely. Friendly helpful staff. Good value for money. Near to the beach. Earplugs are a good idea if you want to sleep as it can be very noisy. Good food for breakfast

Chambres mal isolées mais grandes et confortables

Grandes chambres, bonne salle de bain, personnel accueillant par contre hôtel est très mal isolé au point d'entendre le réveil des chambres voisines et je vous passe la musique, les dialogues et les ronflements... Bref faut avoir de la chance et ne pas tomber sur des voisins bruyants ou faire un petit séjour

Hôtel vraiment pas terribles, je vous le conseil pour petits moyen, sinon fuyez. Salle de bain médiocre sans luminosité, literie très moyenne, notre chambre était côté piscine mais vue sur l'immeuble dans face, trop bruyant et aucune insonorisation le quartier est vraiment moche. Après le personnel est vraiment gentil. Petit déjeuner basique je vous ne le conseil pas . Mais vue le prix de la nuit il ne faut pas s'attendre à de la qualité.

We stayed at hotel Teide for 3 nights. We arrived late at night but with the 24h check-in we had no stress. The place of the hotel is very central, only 5 minutes to feet to the Beach and all the restaurants and supermarkts are very near, as well as the bus station to the center of Palma or to the airport. The room was very clean, breakfast at the pool just amazing. The service really amazing: on last day our flight was at 7 pm, but we were able to leave out luggages at the hotel and go for last swim, and then back we had a shower at the swimimg pool of the hotel. The stay was really comfortable with a nice service. We will for sure book again the Hotel Teide, and we fully suggest it. Thank you for your appreciated service :)

Es gab erst Frühstück ab 08:00 Uhr. Taxi war für den Rückflug um 08:15 Uhr bestellt. Und wir waren ganz schön sauer das wir nicht früher in den Frühstücksraum durften. So ein Stress braucht kein Mensch am Abreisetag. Ansonsten war alles ok. Zimmer/Betten wurden jeden Tag gemacht. Hilfsbereite Angestellte am Empfang. Keine Klagen. Für einen Kurzurlaub immer wieder gerne.
