Bienvenido a nuestro espacioso chalet de 2700 pies cuadrados con 3 dormitorios / 2 baños ubicado en Catskills. Ubicada en un camino privado, esta casa de nueva construcción se encuentra en 3 acres y cuenta con una gran sala grande con techos altos y chimenea abierta a la cocina gourmet personalizada con gabinetes KraftMaid, mostradores de cuarzo y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. El espacio de vida al aire libre consta de 610 pies cuadrados. cubierta con barandas negras.

La cocina está equipada para sus necesidades y cuenta con un lavaplatos, un juego completo de ollas y sartenes, un juego de cuchillos de chef, un horno, platos, tazas, tazas, tazones, tablas de cortar y utensilios de cocina. También ofrecemos tostadora, microondas, tetera, cafetera y licuadora. Ayúdate de cualquiera de las especias disponibles. Bolsas de basura y toallas de mano también están disponibles para su uso.

Los dos baños están equipados con muchas toallas, jabón de manos y papel higiénico. Cada cama cuenta con un cómodo y nuevo colchón, almohadas, ropa de cama y edredones. Almohadas, sábanas y mantas adicionales están disponibles en el armario de ropa blanca.

La suite principal ocupa el piso superior y cuenta con un área de estudio / estudio, vestidor y baño principal de gran tamaño con una bañera de hidromasaje impulsada por aire, ducha y tocador doble y una pantalla plana inteligente T. V.

Completando el primer nivel hay dos dormitorios y baño completo. Dos camas gemelas ocupan un dormitorio y una cama queen size en la segunda habitación.

En la planta baja, el sótano sale al frente de la casa y funciona como una sala familiar / de juegos. Hay una gran área de entretenimiento con un elegante sofá cama Lazzoni y un televisor de 55 ". Ofrecemos muchos juegos, así como Internet y acceso a canales inteligentes de TV. La mesa de billar y las mesas de póker son excelentes para mantener entretenidos a los huéspedes.

El área de lavandería cuenta con lavadora y secadora estándar y ofrecemos detergente para la ropa, suavizante de telas y sábanas para la secadora.

Los huéspedes tienen acceso a toda la casa, excepto al armario del sótano, que utilizamos como almacenamiento.

Great Getaway in the Catskills

Pros and Cons

My husband and I rented this house for Thanksgiving. The positive reviews and location made the home perfect for a family dinner. The cost for two nights was $1593. Below is a summary of our stay: Pros: Cathedral windows, lots of natural light, private, quiet neighborhood, modern furnishings, electric fireplace, clean rooms. The master bedroom sitting area has a flat-screen TV, Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and dual sinks. The spacious kitchen has lots of counter space. The basement/game room has a flat-screen TV, card table, and ping-pong table. Cons: The fridge icemaker was not hooked up. There were two icetrays. Few pots and pans. Three baking sheets were unclean.The two oven mitts were worn and oily. Two stove burners did not work. The fireplace did not work. We had to open a vent on the floor to switch it on. A strong and lingering sewer smell permeated the house on Thanksgiving Day. There was no lighter or matches to light the firepit. The WiFi instructions were incorrect. There was no paper with instructions about the house (ex: thermostat, TV remotes, garbage/recycling). The pillows were flat. TV in the master bedroom & basement did not work. Ping-pong net was broken. Master bedroom is up a steep flight of stairs. This could be a problem for people with knee issues. Despite the above cons, we had to make do and enjoyed our stay. But I would expect a host to pay more attention to details for the high rental cost, especially for a holiday weekend. I hope this helps.

A Gem

Lovely late summer stay

Even though it was rainy, there was enough entertainment within the house to keep us occupied. I'd also recommend checking out Saugerties. Definitely had a lot of fun there as well.

Beautiful and private retreat

We really enjoyed a family reunion in this spacious home in the woods. When you drive onto this property you take in the modern home with a wrap around deck and soaring glass windows. The home is modern, clean and set up for fun. We especially enjoyed the fire pit for late night s’mores, the game table for ping pong and cards. The master bedroom suite, privately on it’s own on the second floor, was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect to see the falls, visit Hunter Mountain and explore Hudson Valley towns.

Ideal Stay!

Betty was a wonderful host and her property is fantastic. We stayed with our two kids (ages 6 and 2) and couldn’t have been happier. The house is immaculate and very well appointed/decorated. The basement was a lot of fun, nice big yard to run around in, and the firepit was a nice touch. Would highly recommend!

Blissful retreat in the Catskills

Perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a true escape. So nice to stay in a place that is clearly set up for visitors to enjoy themselves and feel at home. Spotlessly clean, uncluttered and every imaginable thing you might need seems to be there. We were there to ski at Hunter, which we enjoyed but also just loved being at the house, ligthing a fire and relaxing in the great room or hot tub. The hosts have done a wonderful job and are also enthusiastically helpful. Just a lovely house!

Phenomenal

Betty's home was better than I even imagined! The location was excellent, the deck + outdoor space made for a great escape from the city. The interior is airy and perfect for groups -- there were 5 of us but there is more than enough room to have accommodated a few more. You can tell the property owners really care for the space and its visitors -- there were so many little touches that made our stay excellent :) We can't wait to come stay again!

Indeed a zen retreat

I stayed here for 3 nights by myself just to chill & unwind from city life. I can’t think of a better place to do this. The house is really lovely & well-designed. I also communicated a couple of times with Betty & she is very helpful & responsive. Would definitely recommend this zen getaway to anyone.

Palenville house

The house was very comfortable, and true to the pictures on the listing. Also, the kitchen is very well-stocked - something we had not expeccted. We thoroughly enjoyed our nine day stay. The location is very well-located for hikes in the Kaaterskill region. The internet works perfectly as well!
