Very convenient and quiet motel at Paihia. We had an issue with a sliding door which did not lock but it was quickly sorted out with a change of unit, which was appreciated. Room first allocated was in a very dissapointing position in the complex. So changed to a 2 berm much better but had to pay $80 more.

For the price of the accommodation and for the time that we spent inside, it was worth it. The queen bed wasnt all that comfortable for my 70 year old Aunty so we use the other doona as another layer. The curtains were falling off the hook and just some black mould in the bathroom showers, just a little care and touch up would of made it up to a standard as far as budget goes. Dont buy milk, supplied on arrival and plant out front could of done with some watering or changed out with the exposed plant. Across the road locals revved their trucks or cars about 9.30/10 for a few minutes but then a few voices but i would imagine in peak season, would here each other. Close proximity to wharf, town street/centre and had all the essentials for the bathroom and kitchen. The towel and bathroom layout was a nice, sweet touch. I would stay again for just short term.

Very spacious. I was in room 18. A small climb up some stairs. Car parking directly outside. Very clean. Sky TV. I enjoyed my stay. Reception kindly accomodated my 1 hour late arrival after check-in closed. Neighbourhood was incredibly quiet. No heat pump. Small fan heater for early June was sufficient.
