Fabulous stay!

We loved our stay at the sonder. Our 1 bed apartment was huge and had everything needed. Fabulous living room and very comfy bed. Kitchen is very well equipped. Building is lovely and had great facilities. It's in a fabulous spot in Ottawa too.

We had a great stay. The accommodation was well equiped for us to prep our own meals if we wished to. There was a lot of space in the apartment with separate living and sleeping spaces. The bathroom had everything you needed. The bed was super comfortable and a great size. We'd definitely recommend Sonder and will definitely use again.

I had a wonderful stay at Sonder Rideau. The one-bedroom apartment was clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The only downside was the air conditioning/heating unit, which was a bit too loud- even on the lowest fan setting- so I had to turn it off at times. That said, the reception staff were kind and friendly, and the location was excellent- just a 10-15 minute walk to the mall and nearby restaurants/cafes. The shower had consistently hot water, which was great. Access to the unit was simple using a code or digital keypad. I also appreciated the option to check in and out early for a small fee through the app. Overall, a great experience!

The Sonder Rideau was in a good location. Only a short walk to restaurants, shops and Parliament Hill. The Sonder had large luggage lockers that could be used prior to check- in, which was convenient. The room, which contained a bed, sofa and kitchenette was spacious, modern and clean. Having washers and dryers on each floor was a bonus. Would stay here again.

Sonder Rideau is conveniently located! Lots of restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Check in instructions were pretty straight forward! Throughout our stay we were in and out a lot and noticed there was a plate of food with meat right at the entrance! Nobody bothered to move it, the unit itself is huge, well lit. The heating can be controlled and it worked. The kitchen was nice, bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfortable, the roku tv worked good! The hallway was nice and the staff was super friendly! The overall building is clean and well maintained! The biggest drawback was the furniture specially the velvet couch and chairs had white drops and stains and gave me an ick with in 3 secs! So we sat on the leather chairs through out our stay, which are good but not for netflix and chilling! And the walls are really thin so there is a lot of noise through out the day right from the morning! They know it too which is why they provided ear plugs right next to your bed! Noise is something you can still work around but the couch and velvet furniture is nasty so if they can change that! I’ll be back cause it spacious and budget friendly!
