When I arrive, the lady that was working in the evening was more than a five star rating. I give her a 10 out of 10 she went over and beyond for the customer would definitely recommend dealing with this lady 100 times over.

Great downtown hotel for family vacation

A very ideal pet friendly accommodation for family vacation ; it is in great downtown location that is walkable to most of the Ottawa attractions and restaurants.

I was promised an early 1 pm checkout for April 20. I arrived 1:50 pm the receptionist was not aware of my requested she ask me to come back by 4 pm but I saw people checking in before . She was upset because I show her my email from March 28 about the granted request. I come back by 6 pm, the new receptionist was very nice. It took my VIP request from Expedia. The room does not have extra blanket my husband sleep in the bed because his back issues and I use the sofa bed . There is only sheets. The shower has 2 containers with shampoo. They left my hair very hard and dry. They do not have smart tv. Cannot watch my shows. We do not use all the amenities but the stove is outdated the kettle is not electric, it took time to boil water. They have 3 big towels and 2 facecloths. Cartier suites are average place for a family. But for us a couple it seems outdated. Good walking distance to places quiet streets . The hotel had as decent place at night to have some arepas and some drinks.

Overall fine hotel; pool was gross

The pool was absolutely disgusting; there were clumps of hair floating around and it appeared that the pumps weren't running. The water was very still and cloudy. The pool deck and chairs were covered in water. There was a birthday party just prior and they just decimated the pool but there were no staff around monitoring or cleaning it. The rooms were clean however outdated. There is no patio furniture. There is a lot of glass furniture around which is difficult if you have little ones. There were some dishes. The staff were nice.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, big thank you to Gina on reception, she was so kind and allowed me to check in early and check out late, with no issues. The room is not a room it is a self contained 1 bedroom apartment and had a full working kitchen, with cooking utensils and a full size fridge. cannot recommend this place enough. fantastic hotel

Excellent check in. Very professional check in and checkout staff. Rooms are getting a little tired. Mattress on the pull out couch was very thin and uncomfortable. Great location. Lots to see and do in the area.

Very good price for this hotel, but I wish the room smelled a little better and not like dryer machine or like not properly washed. Front desk was very rude other than that it’s a great location super quiet but the mattress was not comfortable at all. I ended up having a back pain, I couldn’t sleep properly. The guy at front desk was very rude. But the lady who worked the night before was super sweet❤️
