Spring break 25

Too good to be true

The space for a family of 6 was what we desired as we visited family who live in Florida as well as visited the theme parks. However once we get there we find out that the lazy river and whirlpool is closed for repairs. Within our personal condo we lost power in both the upstairs baths. My husband attempted to flip the main breakers but nothing was helping the matter. Every single window had blinds that were broken. If it weren't for curtains, it was borderline inappropriate lacking privacy. Even the curtains were thin and didn't stretch fully over windows. I knew with the size of our family it would be next to impossible to find another place last moment - so I stuck with it. We have yet to receive the refund we were promised for the pools being down. They charge a resort fee to have access to the adminities and yet we couldn't use anything due to the construction. The place has a lot of potential but unfortunately our stay turned out to be a bad time to visit.

Help Needed

The check in/check out process was easy and the staff was very friendly. The issues we encountered was there were roaches in the home. There were dead roaches behind the refrigerator. We used plastic silverware, plates, and cups. We also washed all cooking appliances several times before and after use. It took 2 days to receive a response (text message) that pest control would be coming and never showed. There were no basic cleaning supplies, such as a broom or dust pan, trash bags, dish soap and towels, and oven mitts. The queen beds were actually full sized beds. The toilets were running constantly because of defective handles. The lighting in this unit was horrible, the hall light doesn't work, there's one lamp in the room downstairs. Upstairs if you turn off the light switch the outlets doesn't work. The throw pillows on the bed had stains on them. Each bed came with one pillow which wasn't very comfortable. We were not allowed to set the air below 72, it was very hot upstairs as the air would kick on and off when it wanted to. The amenities of the resort were nice, but with this unit I will not be staying here in the future. I wish I could get my money back for this stay, I wasn't comfortable walking around the unit with my shoes off.

Had a great time but….

We really liked Regal Palms. The pool was great. Kids had a great time. But, the townhouse needs cleaning and updating. Carpets need cleaning. There were no dishclothes and only one hand towel to dry dishes with. No extra bedding. Not enough towels. Also there was not a broom to even sweep the floors with. I’d love to rent there again if that stuff is added. Thank you

The condo itself is nice place. The report was little outdated, the pool area looks way larger in photos and is outdated resort. Location it a little far away compared to what I like but the owner was amazing quick pretty clean and fast to respond.

Great Place to Stay- Would stay again

I was very happy with this rental! It was clean and stocked with necessities to get us through the week. We stayed at another house in August that came with NOTHING, so it was really nice to have toilet paper, a few dishwasher tabs, an extra garbage bag, etc. This was a huge plus for us because we had park days the very next day and didn't have time to run around. The pool area was super nice and it was a great way to spend our day off! Pros: -Rental was very clean and well stocked for a few days -Pool was really nice! -Provided a lot of activities on Fridays (wish this was on other days as well, but Covid screws up everything) -Nice little store Cons: -Wasn't the best location to get to/from the parks with traffic, but I would gladly stay again and take that into consideration -The outdoors had a lot of electrical (???) lines that were not covered. My kids are old enough to know better, but this would definitely be concerning. Please note: this was NOT our building, but the building behind us that shared a backyard. I am adding this to my list of places I would stay again!

Excellent option for large family for Disney

15-min Uber to the park each morning, saved us a ton on resort hotel fees, parking and dining. Our extended family were all able to stay under one roof so the cousins could play. Super clean. Easy access. Unclear check in instructions, email didn’t say anything about going to front desk for arm bands for parking passes. We didn’t realize this until the second day when the guard asked for it for access. Other than that everything was seamless and perfect. Thank you.
