Unwanted Guests
We stayed at the location for about a week. For the most part, the place was cozy, clean, and met our needs. However, the main issue was the cockroaches. We found the first one upon returning one night, and by the end of our stay, we had seen a total of five roaches. On one of the nights, we spotted two of them.We contacted the property manager and sent them pictures of the roaches. They offered to have the place fumigated, but we declined due to being very busy with outdoor/vacation related activities. We were also uncomfortable with strangers entering the property in our absence. The place should have been fumigated before we arrived. We requested a partial refund. They were very concerned with us leaving a negative review.After exchanging multiple text messages with the property manager over several days, we were told that the owners would not be able to compensate us. We don't usually leave negative reviews, but this situation was unprofessional, concerning, and could potentially pose a health risk.
