Love the overall aesthetic of the resort. I did not like that the resort did not have towel service at the pool. Instead we were given towels in the room that we had no way to dry for the next day (unless we opted to use the dryers). I am on vacation; do not want to do laundry while on vacation.

The property is in real disrepair. Stove, and keurig did not work. Dishes, furniture, and even blinds had dried food on them. Hallways and elevator gross. So bad we left as soon as we secured another property to stay at. 8 unanswered meassages and calls to try to get anyone from guest services to contact me. Even though I checked out they still charged me for parking and resort fees after check out. Run away from this property!!!

While the rooms are nice, It is WAY too crowded and they charge for WAY too much! You would assume paying $50 A NIGHT for a resort fee would include the chairs advertised and the Flow rider, mini golf etc…but even finding open chairs is insane, instead they want you to reserve them! So I spent $120 to have chairs to sit in and an umbrella. They have very, very few in the non reserved area! Absolute joke! I think they also may allow non resort people to use the pool and slides creating chaos. Should be much more clear that you need to bring A LOT more money to have a nice vacation.

We stayed here for spring break 2025 and we absolutely loved it! When pulling in, the property was beautiful! The landscaping looked amazing. The only negative thing was that when we got there, our room was not ready for check-in when it was supposed to be, but it was shortly after and they comped us for the parking fee. There was everything available on site - resteraunt, store, arcade, pool, waterpark. When we got to our 2 bedroom condo it was perfect! Spacious, clean, had all the cooking utensils needed. Huge bathrooms. The most negative thing was how confusing the property was. There were not many signs on where to go so we got lost trying to find our room multiple times. Other than that, we loved it!! Will be back again!!

The hotel was fairly clean and grounds were kept well and the staff were generally friendly. However, it was somewhat unorganized a service level was not great. On the calendar handouts and displayed on their lobby board there was a bourbon tasting on the Saturday. I found myself with several other guests at the lobby desk asking about it. The staff didn’t know, after about 15 minutes of waiting their best guess was that it was done a different day than scheduled, they didn’t seem apologetic in any way. This was disappointing. The rooms also get a musty smell. I think from damp towels. Balcony rooms might not notice this as much if the doors are left open for circulation. Towel service is an extra $15, otherwise you need to wash and dry your own. Machines are available free of charge, but only 2 machines for hundreds of guests. Some guests on our floor were extremely loud late at night, spilled ketchup on the hallway floors and frequently left garbage outside of their rooms. While the outside grounds were kept quite clean, the hotel hallways were less frequently monitored. They also offer travel to and from the theme parks, however they are the least luxurious of the hotel buses and the driver we had rear ended into another bus on the way home. This caused us about a 50 minute delay in getting back after a long day. Overall it is fine, but overpriced in my opinion given the level of service and lack of professionalism with its programs.

You go to this resort for the kids - period. The Safari Park is really fun for kiddos and they can hang out and have a great time all day. However, if you have to work at all before check-in, best of luck with the check-in process which is extremely long and drawn out. Don't try to get there early as they will not have a room ready even if you will pay for it and there are ZERO usable business rooms to use for any work calls or meetings. There is an open space with a computer which is basically in a main hallway, so very loud, along with pretty loud music. I basically begged to sit in a staff room so I could take a work meeting in the late afternoon as no rooms were ready by 4:00pm. Not one to add any negativity often but this was extremely frustrating for a working parent who needs a more quiet space for a short period of time before rooms are ready. Positives certainly outweigh the negatives as again, great place for kids.

Property had beautiful landscaping. Everything was so lush and tropical. The condo was not well stocked with linens and no hand soap in master bathroom. The pillows were so bad we had to go buy some. The walls are so thin, you can hear a conversation outside of your room if someone was standing there. Definitely would not stay here again.

This property is very over hyped, the property and rooms need serious renovations and repairs and the staff is extremely rude! I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean the room I was staying in. Guest services will put you on hold then hang up when they are busy especially during times like spring break! I definitely will not stay here again! The only upside to stay at the Grove is the water park/pool area!!!!!!!!

Hidden charges on the bill. Cover the parking fee. The rooms don’t have hand soap or body soap, and it was requested but never delivered.
