The room was dirty when we arrived, toilets used, no towels. No answer from phoning front desk, a recurring problem through the week if we needed something. Pool towels must be reused by guests for the whole stay. It’s gross. You have to wash them yourself or specifically ask for a swap, otherwise people are bringing their same dirty towel back to those chairs day after day. Ick. But The Grove is like that -policies are not so much about making the place work as about squeezing its inhabitants for fees, deferring maintenance, and decreasing costs even for basics. It was a dirty place, with unhappy staff who seemed overwhelmed, and policies that annoyed us and got in the way of our fun on vacation. Don’t go here.

When we arrived the room was dirty, toilets used, and had no towels. I called the desk for help but no one answered, a recurring problem. I had to flag down security for help, and housekeeping eventually cleaned the room for us while we sat there. At The Grove, guests are suspect: signs in the rooms warn not to steal the awful, threadbare pool towels. Signs at the pool warn that lost room keys incur a charge: but are provided to guests on a weird knitted wristband that must be cut off to be removed, and which often failed to unlock my door anyway. If the signage doesn’t make you feel uninvited, the annoying policies will. Last: as I worked through checkin and getting help with the problems we encountered, I spoke with annoyed people who seemed stretched thin. We won’t ever be back and couldn’t recommend The Grove under any circumstances.

We had a fantastic vacation! Everything was very clean, waterpark and pools were amazing! The room we stayed in L2307 did need dishwasher repair. It didn’t clean dishes, the tv in the bedroom to left of family room didn’t work. I with there was more/better blankets and dinnerware. We had an amazing time and were thankful to have stayed at the Grove! Thank you!

I checked in around 10:30 PM after a long day at the theme parks. Upon arrival the room was dirty, the beds were missing sheets, there was 1 pillow per room. One of the bathrooms was filled with water, the other one had what appeared like feces. Went to call front desk from room but half of the phone was missing. There were no remotes for the tv. I went down stairs to complain as to we had children and a baby that were exhausted. Front desk advised they were going to send house keeping immediately. 45 minutes later still no house keeping. Went downstairs again to follow up since room was missing phone. Spoke with front desk they apologized and offered to waive my room upgrade fee and parking fees due to inconvenience. I checked out got back home from my vacation and the resort still charged both fees after they said they would be waived. I was Never refunded. I Reached out to hotel and was advised they cannot do anything about it anymore. Super unprofessional. Very unhappy.

This was our second time staying it was great as always. My only suggestion is that they should heat the kids waterpark, the water was extremely cold around 55 degrees or lower and the weather itself was on the low 70, hight 60

Pool was enjoyable, property was well maintained, staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. Unfortunately. I found the food options at the resort lacking. Breakfast sandwiches at the market were overpriced, very small and barely edible. Also the pizza served at the market was chewy and dry. I ordered takeout from the Valencia and the COD tacos were overcooked, flavorless and I never even received the tortilla chips that were supposed to come with it. I don't mind spending money on good food but this wasn't it.

The rooms are huge! Definitely a great hotel for big groups. It’s basically an Airbnb with a full kitchen and a washer and dryer for longer stays. Service was great also. The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 was simply because I thought the “waterpark” was small. When I heard waterpark I thought it would be bigger. But the kids did have an amazing time.
