Disappoint and very poor comminuted with Wonder Homes property management

The location and amenities were great. Internet and cable tv did not work. Very poor communication with host. They said it would be fixed, but it was not for our entire stay which was a week. They also mentioned they would provide a partial refund for the inconvenience but did not

Family Trip

The condo was very clean, well decorated and in a great location. The disappointing customer service is what gives this an overall 3 stars. The check in process, ease of booking and access were all great - which were all system generated. Actually contacting a human and getting timely responses was not. We had a concern escalated and a ticket put in via text, assuming an AI software, and never heard from anyone. We checked out a day early because of our frustrations, notified the company by text and email that we did and still received 5 messages on how to check out, when and how to notify them we when we did. Our primary concern was an exposed outlet and cables from the internet company working on something when we arrived. When the tech left he provided us the connectivity information and said it was good to go. We were never notified by Wonder that they would be there at our arrival or that there was any issues with the internet/tv. The wifi and TV did not work at all during the stay. The day after we booked we realized it did not have a personal pool (admittedly our error) but we asked to move to another one of their open properties in the same neighborhood and was first told to check their site for availability and then over the next 2 weeks we tried calling, email and the chat function to upgrade and got no response. When we finally reached someone, we were told it was too late. Again, the lack of customer service was frustrating and disappointing.

Enjoyable vacation

Excellent communication with the rental company. House was as described, beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the amenities at the resort. Had a pleasant vacation.

Perfect for my trip

Looking for a place for a few adults and a few kids to relax then hit a Disney park for a day or two? this is your spot. Larger rooms than the images will have you believe. perfect proximity to the Retreat club pool and water park. Clean, Parking, great staff at the champions gate. 5/5 for us!

NO POWER OR LIGHTS IN MASTER BED&BATH

When we arrived for our booking, there was a repair man in the home. He stated he was working on an electrical issue in the home. I had not been notified by any rep from wonder vacation homes that he would be there. Still, thats not the problem. I told him he was welcome to stay. He said he return the following day to finish the repair. He did not return the following day. So i messaged WVH they said somone would come fix it. And again they did not. 3 seperate times i was told the problem would be fixed, i was very patient. And here we are check out day and its still out. So packing at 5 am with my phone flash light was not fun. I wanted to love this listing. It looked perfect. Check in was painless. Its beautiful and in a gated comunity. But unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. Also there is a stipulation with the ac. They require you to keep the thermastat between 72-76. Which in florida 72 dose not cut it. If you adjust thermostat lower than 72 they say it can damage the unit and you as the renter will pay for damages. It was really warm yall. Like i slept with no covers. In a bedroom i couldnt charge my phone in. Or watch the tv, or even have a light. For the entire stay. And the ac thing is a no from me. I kept the thermostat at 72 per instruction but was uncomfortable the whole time. Im really laid back. No worries kinda gal. But this was ludicrous. Its a no from me. But it was clean. So there's that i guess??? tom

1 star because zero isn’t an option

1 star because ZERO stars isn’t an option. from checkin the cooling would not keep the rental between the “suggested temp” stated on the wall which was 72-76 degrees. It was 80 degrees the majority of the time we rented except when I cooled off of the evenings and then it would be in the mid 70‘s. we contacted the property management twice before they said they’d send someone out that NEVER came. In addition to this issue arriving on the unit it had hair left in the floors used, dirty looking soap left in the bathroom. The first night the fridge temp was in the 40’s. the second night I believe it started working again. To top it ALL off my family and kids went to the pool an amenity included with our stay, only to be told that the unit we are staying in is on the “NO ACCESS LIST” due to the property owners not paying their HOA fees. the lady at the desk gave me a # to call and that was at 10 am today and there is still no resolution. I called twice and twice they said they would fix the issue. and told my husband to have the lady at the desk call them directly and she did while we were standing there and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE for her!!! Dishonest company. Please do yourself a favor and go to Yelp and look at this companies reviews. Also several people on yelp stated they falsely try to keep your deposit as well. choose another place to rent from, these people are looking to make the money and then do nothing for their customers.

The property we stayed at was clean and secure. At no fault of the property owners, the only complaint I would have is unsupervised kids in the pool areas acting ridiculous. We were also there during Spring Break, so that may be a factor. I appreciated the check-ins provided by the property owner during our stay; he made sure everything was running smoothly and I appreciate that

BEWARE of who stays below you

We were having a great vacation until the 2nd week when pot smokers moved in below us. The constant stench of pot smoke filled the lanai. We contacted the property manager, who did nothing. The HOA information in our literature was incorrect so we couldn't contact them. Grand Champions as a host don't seem to enforce anything, there were several collage age kids smoking at poolside while several Grand Champion Oasis employees did nothing. Overall the accommodations were perfect if not for the major smoke annoyances
