On arrival at Windsor Island, security did not have any of our details. We were made to drive away from the resort and contact the property management to get this resolved. After a long flight, we found this to be an inconvenience but realised the security were only doing their job. The matter was quickly resolved with only a short delay. The villa was as described and spotlessly clean. The pool furniture was adequate, but it may be an idea to get more sunloungers and get rid of the outdoor sofa which was quite speckled with mildew and this would create a bit of space as the pool area is quite small. We did find the existing loungers were quite flimsy. The pool cues in the games room had also seen better days. The property is quite new and the furnishings within reflect this.

Upon entering the home you could immediately tell the carpet definitely needed cleaning. The carpet was dirty throughout the whole house. The bathrooms could have used a little more cleaning as well. Then I went outside and the cushions on the sitting area were full of mold and so were the lawn chairs. Just a note to the owners a fresh coat of paint and having the carpet cleaned would not have broken the bank, especially for the price I paid. In addition, buying new covers for your outside cushions could have been a simple fix as well. The curtains outside- all they needed was a little bleach and a good washing, but there again, they were dirty too!Concerning arrival the entry code given needed additional instructions. After a very long drive, I had to go back to the front gate to find out how to get in the home. Apparently, the owner did not know how to get in the home.The directions given- it took me to a gate for owners only. If it wasn't for someone coming out of the gate me and another individual wouldn't have know how to gain access to the property.Lastly, some of the televisions in the rooms didn't have access to the internet. I contacted the owner numerous times and he said he would send someone to the home- they never came.

Extremely disappointed- would not recommend

Our stay at this rental was unfortunately one of the most disappointing experiences we've had through VRBO.Pre-Arrival & Communication:Communication before arrival was lacking. On the day we were traveling, the host informed us that no washcloths would be provided—a bit late to pack accordingly. Limited towels provided in general. There were also no pool towels provided. We were told the hot tub would be heated to 90F, but it wasn’t heated at all during our stay.Check-In Experience:Check-in was delayed by 20 minutes because an inspector parked in the driveway, blocking our access. Since parking on the street isn’t allowed, this was frustrating and avoidable. Upon entering, we discovered the temperature inside was 76F downstairs and 78F upstairs. It didn’t cool down until 11 PM, forcing us to purchase four fans so our family could sleep comfortably.Property Condition & Issues:A maintenance man showed up unannounced just hours after arrival to inform us the washing machine was broken. For a family of 10, including one ill child requiring extra laundry, this was a huge inconvenience.The master bedroom TV was broken and remained unusable.On Day 3, the upstairs HVAC stopped working, and the temp rose to 88F. We ended up replacing the batteries ourselves.TV remote and trash instructions were incorrect.HVAC system is not sufficient for Florida heat.Confetti from a previous renter kept appearing, indicating a poor cleaning job. Carpet on the stairs is filthy. Look elsewhere!

2025 family vacation

Beautiful house, clean sheets & towels, kids loved the theme rooms & the pool after long days at the parks. Small issue with washing machine, but was dealt with promptly, good communication with wonder vacations.

Beautiful/ spacious home!

The house was absolutely gorgeous and clean as can be. The upstairs sitting room was great for kids to play pool or watch TV. The only downside is the actual development as Windsor island management is still trying to figure out parking, entering and exiting the resort and the water park( slides broken, no rafts for lazy river, etc) I am sure with time these will be fixed. But overall, the house itself is amazing for families with lots of space, bathrooms, and a garage to park in. Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful vacation home in a beautiful resort

We were a party of 11, 5 adults over 18 and 6 children under 18. The house was perfect for our group. It was tastefully decorated. The kids loved the theme rooms. Wonderful master suites for the adults. The pool was great for the kids to swim and cool off after a day at the theme park. The clubhouse and amenties were a kids dream. Location was great for a quick bite and to pick things up that we needed. The management company was so attentive and responded to all my emails promptly. Bruno's team was amazing. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Wonder Vacations. You made this Canadian family very happy during their stay.

Great property!

This property was perfect for our spring break trip. We had two families, which included 4 adults and 9 kids/teens. There was plenty of space for all of us where we could spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The decor was so fun! The girls loved the frozen room and the Harry Potter room was also a big hit. Also it was very nice to have our own pool and hot tub to come back to after a long day at the parks. The community water park was also wonderful. The only minor issues we had were locating the towels, and having a light turned off in a locked closet. But these matters were quickly resolved by the property owner. I highly recommend this property.

Overall great stay!

We had a great stay! Home was clean and description was very accurate. It was on a newer street I believe so our GPS had trouble locating it. We did get an email/text the morning our reservation was to begin that said our reservation was going to be cancelled due to lack of paperwork and we had an hour to contact them, so that was a little stressful because when we tried to contact them we didn’t hear back. Finally a few hours later we got in touch with someone that said it must’ve just been a mistake because we were all good for checkin.
