First time to stay at a VRBO, so we did not understand some things, but as for space and comfort, it was good. Not having drawers to store clothes and the couch was not comfortable. Not knowing the hot tub was part of pool heating. So yes, would stay again if needed.

Great Vacation Home

We had an awesome stay during our time at Storey Lake. The home was nice and clean with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The amenities at the resort pools were great. We used the shuttle service to get to and from the resort pools and the service times were quick and the driver was extremely friendly and helpful. Our host was very responsive to our messages if we needed anything. I would definitely book here again if needed. It was truly a very relaxing vacation.

We had a good time…. The stay was comfortable and we felt safe. It was easy to get into the entrance and leaving. The beds was uncomfortable but we had enough room for everyone and what ever you need regarding restaurant or stores it’s conveniently close.

Great condo for large family

The condo was very large and spacious. Getting to it via GPS was quite tricky and took us to locked exit gates, etc. I did not realize the hot tub wouldn’t be hot without paying extra for the heater, so pay attention to that. Host communicated well. The unit lacked some items that I have found in others (pot holders, pool towels, salt/pepper) but overall was very well equipped.

Great house and location! Would stay again.

House itself is in very good condition, minor signs of wear but nothing that impacts the quality of stay. All appliances in working order, plenty of kitchen stuff for large groups, only thing we couldn't find was a pizza cutter. Coffee maker is a regular drip pot, so bring ground coffee. There are enough coffee filters left behind from other guests to last 6 months. :) Hot tub and pool were sparkling clean and we paid for the heating. Hot tub worked fine and was great for a soak in the morning and evening, pool felt awesome as well.Beds were very cozy (memory foam mattresses) and bathrooms were stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Not a whole lot of bath towels so be prepared to do a few loads of laundry. Property provided 5 "tide pods", washer and dryer worked well.Garage was nice. Ability to have the car secured at night was a comfort and there was a severe night time storm with small hail we didn't have to worry about.Great location within easy walking distance of community gym/pool. NOTE: property does not provide beach towels so bring your own for the pool.20 minutes from Disney, 30-40 to Universal. So good location for the parks.Publix, Target and plenty of dining options very close as well.This was our second time in Storey Lake and would book this property again. Hosts were very communicative and quick to respond to questions. Checked in on us daily.Book with confidence.

Disappointed all around

Only wanted a 2 day stay but had to pay for a 3 day minimum. No privacy all the properties backyards face each other and the pools are 3ft from each other. But unfortunately our pool didn’t work so we got to watch everyone else have fun. Oh and if you want heat in the pool that an extra charge which we paid. The pool was 60 degrees when we got there after paying extra for the 3 days of pool heating. Host was responsive but no one actually showed up to fix the pool heater. There were also bare minimum toiletries at the property. No wash clothes, 2 extra trash bags. The AC was set to not go under 70 degrees and both west facing rooms were well above 75 right before bed when my kids were trying to go to sleep. Very uncomfortable and why we ultimately left early. Won’t be coming back again and I will do more due diligence before booking a VRBO. I believe I was overcharged and will likely just stay at a hotel or find a different service to utilize. The one positive was the community pool.

Mostly good.

Smokey smelling in bedroom and bathroom by pool. Also air hockey doesn’t have a puck or seem to work. Sad that hot tubs can’t be actually hot but I hear that’s a Florida rule now.The house was nice and well stocked with all we needed.Would book again.

Great Family House

The 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms really worked well for our family vacation. It was close to the community pool area, which we definitely took advantage of each day. Would stay again if we come back to the Orlando area with our extended family.

Overall good

The place was beautiful and the clubhouse was really great but condo amenities a bit on the cheaper side. This was the first place we’ve ever stayed that did not provide washcloths. We also overpaid for a cheap grill that came with no grilling utensils. Dishwasher was hard to load since it was broken, master bathroom tile all cracked and loose, and the neighbors were all very loud (music and voices) due to such close proximity. Communication was also a bit difficult due to many different website portals. We made the best of everything but probably the last stay at this unit.

Amazing house rental (BOOK IT!!!)

We really enjoyed this house. It's decorated nicely. The house felt warm and welcoming. We love the heated pool and location. Just Book it!!! Then thank me later. It's worth every penny especially if you escaping the cold winter like we were. You won't regret it. 5/5 stars

5 Year old party!

We stayed here with family. It was their first Disney trip and my daughters fifth birthday party. The house was a great size! The kids were able to have their own space to run around and play without overwhelming the grownups. They do tell you to ask for the pool heater to be turned on before you come, DEFINTELY do that if you're coming in a cooler month. I forgot to and the pool was freezing. But the community pool was very nice! The kids LOVED the lazy river. I just don't understand why the heater wouldn't be turned on knowing that its being rented out. The bedframe in the downstairs king room was clearly broken when we showed up. We were able to sleep on it but it was very creaky and the headboard leaned forward away from the wall. There were a few little things like that. I did see some reviews that mentioned management wanting to charge renters for things like that so we went through and documented it all when we got in. We did not encounter that issue with our stay. I hope they fix the broken bed soon. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and a great large coffee pot. Hosting my daughters birthday party was so easy and fun there. Location is great, close to a Target a Walmart and an Aldi. About a 20 min drive to Disney. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Clean, good location, but still a disappointment

Plenty of positives! Very clean, lots of space, great location, beautiful club house with a perfect lazy river. Spring break was busy, but we were able to find pool chairs at 10am. Be careful about the patio door locks. The far left lock will occasionally come unlocked as the right side is open and closed. Just check it before going to bed or heading out for the day. As far as location, it was very easy to get to Disney Springs for a day of shopping and entertainment. Beware around Spring Break, lots of nighttime partiers (some quieted down, others not so much). The phone number to night security to enforce the noise ordinance did not work. Management company had no idea what I was talking about when told. The management company leaves a LOT to be desired. First, we had an unexpected maintenance visit. They claimed it was to replace two vertical blinds, but the blinds were fine. I did not allow the man access because I felt it was unnecessary and could be scheduled when guests were not in the house. Second, before booking I read all the reviews; after booking I read through all the instructions, feeling confident that if I followed their instructions we would enjoy our time there. Boy was I wrong! I used their portal for all my communication with them (per their instructions), which included a request and payment one week in advance of our stay for using the pool heater. While at the property I notified them the pool felt colder than expected and asked them to check the heater had been turned on (knowing it takes 24-48 hours to properly heat the pool - hence the advance notice and payment). They incorrectly assured me it was. I was also given tips by the neighbors to turn on the jacuzzi for the maximum time as that would help heat the pool. The very next day, after a full day at Disney Springs we came back to find the jacuzzi and pool colder than ever and completely unusable. With it being in the mid 80's, we definitely tried, but we were turning purple and shivering. I contacted the management company again to request a refund for the pool heating, because our stay was short and we would not be able to enjoy the pool on the last day due to checkout being so early. While they did promise a refund (in 3-5 days), honestly it negatively impacted the whole trip because we rented this property for the main purpose of having a private pool to USE. I won't be staying at this property again or any properties managed by "Wonder" again.

Nice house, poor management

The house itself is great. It’s clean, plenty of space, well decorated, warm and comfortable. The four of us thought our beds were super comfortable. The pool and spa were warm, per our request, upon arrival. The pool gets minimal sun during the course of the day mostly because of the close proximity of all 3 neighbors. Upon our arrival we noticed a light bulb was not working, nor was the coffee maker. We contacted the management a immediate the next morning, and a time or two after. While they said they were working on the issues, throughout our four night stay, the issues were not fixed, so we had no option to make our own coffee. The ironing board also wasn’t super functional. It’s the over the door kind which wasn’t secured to the door, and (my fault??,) I didn’t realize that was how it was supposed to work. They did not respond to my ironing board inquiry at all. Upon leaving, we were charged for a stained white wash cloth and a broken picture frame. The wash cloth wasn’t a big concern as it was a $5 plus tax charge, but we did not break the picture frame and the pictures they sent us to prove it was a broken frame were odd, small pictures that didn’t even show the room where the frame was hanging. Now we need to go through he paperwork process of refuting the charge and we are supposed to provide “proof” that we didn’t break it. So in short, they took little responsibility for things that needed attention while we were in the home, yet once we left they were very attentive to add charges which we should not incur. Contact person through VRBO has yet another management company in charge of the home. Home is in a crowded, tight neighborhood, yet noise was never an issue. Trash valet service was great. Community club house and it’s amenities also were fabulous. Ice cream shop sells pre packaged ice cream like popsicles and ice cream sandwiches. No fresh ice cream/ cones available. Lazy river and water slides fun. Weight room very suitable. Lots to do at the clubhouse.

Great spot!

The location was perfect. An easy 15-20 minute drive to the Disney parks. The house was nice, clean and well cared for. The other amenities on the property were great also. I would stay at this place again for sure, and I was really pleased with the property manager, they were responsive and helpful. We were overall very happy with our stay! However, there are just a few things I would like to comment on just because they asked for opinions about what would make it better. (1) The spa is not a hot tub, and won't get warmer than the pool. (2) We paid extra to have the pool heated, but depending on the time of year you go (we went in early Feb), if the weather is too cool outside, the heater turns off. It then takes a long time for the pool to heat up again. We were there 7 nights, and the pool was really only warm one of the nights. (3) The kitchen could use a few more "stock" items such as salt and pepper, pot holders, dish soap, plastic cups (for use around the pool). Note: they do provide several packs of dishwashing detergent but no liquid dish soap for items that should not be in the dishwasher. (4) They only provide 1 roll of paper towels. For a 1 week stay, they should provide 2-3. (5) They do not provide wash cloths for sanitary reasons. I cannot remember if this was in the pre-arrival instructions. (6) Bring extra towels for swimming. The ones that are provided for the bathrooms are pretty small and thin.

Great Vacation Home

It was a great vacation home. Great proximity to Disney. It also had a nice pool that can be enjoyed by all ages during the hot noons. It was a pleasant stay!

Great house and rental

We are very pleased with the house and the location. We tried to get a better description several times about the room bed sizes. To clarify there is a king suite downstairs that attaches to kitchen and pool. There is a set of single beds on lower level next to the shared bathroom. Upstairs there is a second king suite with soaker tub and full bath. There also is a room with a bunk bed that is single over double with a trundle double pull out. There is a full bath close to this room. And a fifth room has 2 double size beds which sits next to another full bathroom. There also is a couch that is in the loft that also opens to a queen size bed. The pool we had heated for our stay had we not heated the pool it would not have been used. November has too cool of evenings to enjoy the pool not heated. The hot tub is NOT a hot tub it is bubbly seated pool. The temperature of the pool and "hot tub" were the same. or slightly cooler from each other. Trash is picked up early mornings daily. Just set outside front door in the brown bin next to front door. They will also take any cardboard that wont fit into a bag. The one car garage is only big enough for a small compact car. So our minivan and pick up truck would not fit. There is an ice machine in the fridge. The coffee pot is a K-cup and brew full pot size so you can come prepared. They did provide a start up set of soap/etc. very helpful. Helpful items to bring with you would be hand size kitchen towels/wash cloth for dishes, handwashing dish soap, kitchen cleaner, trash bags, laundry soap and any laundry items you use . There was construction near by but never disrupted our stay.
