Yes, stay here!

We chose the Fairfield Inn and Suites for location. It's walking distance to ICON Park and The Pointe. Lots of dining and entertainment venues to choose from! We had a 1 bdrm suite, which was very spacious. It was clean and quiet. We had a couple of issues that the front desk handled immediately. There is a $16 per day to park at the hotel, but you can park in the ICON parking garage for free. It's only a 4 minute walk. The room includes a hot breakfast buffet which was nice.

The most important part of a hotel is sleep. I have been to many of the hotels throughout Orlando, but the beds are the worst I have ever slept on in my life (0/10). They are basically foam beds with no support. Spending a week in these beds I had to sleep upright against the headboard with pillows under my top half to gain any support. Lol. 2 of 4 of my family members were popping ibuprofens everyday for bad pain due to these beds. Parking is a joke (2/10). There isn't nearly enough parking, when you arrive you get surprised that they want to charge you +$16/day to fight for a space. The staff are very kind and the absolute best part (10/10). Breakfast is nice but has repetitive choices(7/10). Property is clean.(9/10)

Don’t do it. Spend a little more and go somewhere that’s actually worth it. We checked in yesterday, got to our room (which smells horrible like strong mildew and is also an accessible room which we did not request), dropped off our stuff and went to eat. When we got back late at night and got ready for showers we couldn’t turn the shower on because the handle was broken. At that hour they had to send someone up to figure out how to fix it. Once we finally all got showered and headed to bed, we couldn’t sleep between the black spots on the pillows, the club music blaring outside our window, and the AC that seems to be extremely old and loud. At 3am we were all still awake listening to the music coming from outside and AC making all kinds of noises. Today, I reached out to hotels.com, not even requesting a refund for last night, truly only wanting to refund tonight (we still are here for 1 more night) to go stay somewhere cleaner and worth our money, hotels.com said refund was subject to hotel approval, called the hotel and of course they refuse to give us a refund because it’s “non-refundable”. I understand non-refundable if it’s a quality hotel but this is the absolute FARTHEST thing from. I will make sure to post this everywhere I need to so people know the photos and 5 star reviews and fake. This is nothing but a failing hotel with poor cleanliness, no upkeep and horrible customer service. - Christine
