Nice folks running it, but it's old and shows it. Needs maintenance, but even more, needs a good cleaning. They advise guests not to put towels on the floor. That's good, because anything that touches the floor gets filthy!

The property was not quite as pictures and description. Seemed old and tired. Property in desperate need of painting, especially the outside. Not sure why the halls and other parts of reception full of boxes and old chairs. Staff friendly.

What a charming property and the owners bend over backwards to accommodate you. This is an excellent example of a rarity nowadays, a mom and pop establishment that has a beautiful 50s style renovated motelthat It's kept up immaculately. The best owners/staff you will ever find.

Quaint old-time motel. Bed clean and comfy and clean toilet, sink and towels. Our room did not look at all close to pic that comes up. Needed painting in areas, shower needed new grout and tiles fixed.Chairs very stained. Nice little frig/freezer and TV. Breakfast was hot and very good. He cooked eggs to order!

I felt so at home at the Florence lighthouse inn. I felt safe at all times the area is great. The bed was so comfortable and sheets crispy clean as though they dried them on a clothes line in the sun. And the breakfast is awesome and healthy.The staff really were the nicest people. I came in one evening and people were sitting and quietly talking and listening to each others stories and as well as the hotel owner. And topping it all off Florence lighthouse inn is across the street from Dairy Queen. Indulging in vanilla with hot fudge in a cup was a must. I would stay here every time I come this way, and I might even come to Florence just to stay here at Florence Lighthouse Inn. Thank you for the lovely stay. Joan Terrone

Don’t expect much.

The place is old. It smells old. It is not being maintained. The breakfast was biscuits and gravy. Waffles and packets of oatmeal. It is shelter and not much more. The owners are very nice.

It was not what I expected

Over priced from what we got and breakfast was so simple . Nothing special . They don’t have much staff , please don’t expect anything from them . No one cleaning your room and you have to request towels from them .
