Olmstedville, New York, near Gore Mountain and North Creek, designed as a true

Spring and early summer are some of the best times to experience the

Adirondacks. Guests can enjoy hiking, fishing, scenic drives, waterfalls,

antiquing, small-town museums, historic sites, and family day trips before

peak crowds arrive.



One of the local highlights is Minerva Lake, where guests can easily spend a

day or even an entire week enjoying the area. It is a favorite for families

because it is easy, scenic, and relaxing, with room to enjoy the outdoors at

your own pace. It is the kind of place where kids can play, adults can unwind,

and everyone can enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks without having to rush

from place to place.



From The Alpine Homestead™, guests can build the kind of trip they want. Some

come for outdoor adventure, with nearby opportunities for whitewater rafting,

kayaking, hiking, fishing, and guided excursions. Others prefer scenic

outings, shopping, antiquing, historic stops, and cruising around the region.

Lake George makes a great day trip for sightseeing cruises, brunch cruises,

village shopping, waterfront dining, and weekly summer fireworks. Families can

also venture out to major attractions in the region, including Lake Placid’s

Olympic-area attractions, scenic wildlife experiences, Six Flags Great Escape,

the water park in Queensbury, and other classic Adirondack and Lake George

activities.



After a full day out, return to the house to grill, relax on the wraparound

porch, gather around the fire pit, or settle in for a cozy night with games,

books, and good company.



Surrounded by tall trees and peaceful mountain air, the property sits on 1.5

acres and is built for group stays, giving everyone room to spread out while
