Overall felt like an aging, ill managed property of undermined potential with management hiring whomever they can pay the least and cut anything possible. Unprofessional staff at concierge. It was at least 80 degrees in the entire hotel and very steamy. The bathroom was small with a dirty bathtub, old marks in the basin, and a slow, very old shower. I expected better for a suite. The advertised skylight and glass elevator were marred by dysfunction: one elevator was out much of the time so down to one and again very steamy. What would have been a gorgeous lobby/dining area was ruined by again swampy heat and at least seven buckets collecting dripping water from the skylight and ceiling with accompanying wet floor signs in almost equal number. No room service except for a few hours after 5:00 either, and the restraint closed before 11:00. The positives were two exceptional staff members: the serving lady on the hot buffet and the brunch hostess at the podium checking room number before entry. Both were so warm, welcoming, kind and helpful. No one else seemed to want to be there.

Hotel was nice. Room was clean. Roof leaked in lobby. Buckets everywhere and slick spots on the floor. Biggest problem was I needed to check out early due to family emergency. Was told by the front desk I couldn’t be refunded. Didn’t push the issue. But won’t be back because of it.

Amazing staff, hotel itself is ok

I have noticed a steady decline in this location. We have stayed here every year for 8 years for a family reunion and loved it but have been disappointed the last few years. The staff is wonderful from the front desk, breakfast, housekeeping and catering. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. The decline is is the quality of the property itself. The elevator has not worked well for 3 years and were told that we are not able to go upstairs only downstairs. The only option to go to your room in the late evening is to go by elevator (because only a maintenance employee can unlock the door to go upstairs). This only bothers me because there was a point in time that about 50 -60 people were waiting on one slow elevator. Also the AC in my room was great but my brothers room was not working well, nor was the main lobby and breakfast area. It is my understanding that they are in a transitional period between Hilton/owner so I hope that once this is resolved the needed updates will take place. In summary, I got a good deal on a room and was happy with it for the price paid. However, when i first called Hilton to book I was told the total for one night standard room would be $267 and there is no chance I would stay in this hotel for that price.

The lobby and dinning area are nice and clean. However, the rooms absolutely are not and desperately need updating. I wouldn’t stay here again for the price and better options in direct area.

Check in was great. One elevator was out so it did slow things or make for a long walk around your floor if you took the other elevator. However that was not my biggest issue, The hot water took 15 mins to kick in the first day I checked in. The second day there was no hot water at all. I had to take 2 cold showers that day. Hot water was fine the morning I checked out lol smh. I am pretty sure there is water seeping in from the outisde windows as it pools on the balcony and the carpet by the window is molded. Terribly molded, not sure how housekeeping doesnt see it. Lastly, the lady who worked in the breakfast cooked-to-order egg bar is rude and needs to remember she is at work and we are the customers/client. Her sarcastic and seemingly judmental remarks are not welcoming and not something your paying customers should be subjected to, especially not first thing in the morning. She needs to do better.
