Great location but house is in pretty bad shape
The location is wonderful and the house is overall cute.
Unfortunately the house is also in pretty bad shape and in real need of renovation.
The sliding door did not have a latch (it was replaced with a bolted screw). It was open when we came and not lockable from the inside. A lovely lady from the rental company came by explaining that normally there was a wooden block to block the door - but that was nowhere to be found. So the door could not be locked!
Floors are very creaky, scratched up, and everything seems pretty worn out.
The place was not very clean. Some comforters had stains, the couch was sandy, and when we moved one of the beds, dirt from what seemed like a decade appeared (socks, shoes, dust, etc).
A slated bed frame was parked (probably forgotten) right next to the door, old fruit was in the fridge, soap and shampoo packs left on the outdoor table, etc.
Also be aware that the place is managed by a rental company. They all seemed lovely and well intentioned - but communication was sometimes slow. We had to follow up a few times, at one point we got sent texts meant for another rental, or the rental agent answered questions that had been previously answered, instead of the ones we had just sent, etc.
Overall, especially for the price you pay, we cannot recommend.
