We loved our weekend stay here! It was the perfect cozy getaway—we spent time doing crafts, played some fun games, and got a great night’s sleep in the super comfortable beds. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun stay!

An amazing winter getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. I did report that there was leaking in the upstairs window. we piled towels to mediate. My only hesitation about returning to Magnolia would be the heating situation. We had a wonderful time!!

Beautiful Lake House!!

We had a wonderful visit to this beautiful home!! Enjoyed everything about staying in this home equipped with lots of fun activities including a hot tub and easy access to the lake!! Views were beautiful!! We will definitely visit again in the future!!

Christmas special

We had a great a Christmas getaway. The home and property is beautiful with nice view and access to lake. My grandchildren loved taking a walk to the lake. Had great time in hot tub with granddad. Plus went snowboarding for their very first time. It just doesn’t get any better when everyone is happy and accommodations are excellent. Deep Creek excellent Family getaway and Timber Rock Village is the way to get there.

Thanksgiving away from home

Our family enjoys DCL every other year for Thanksgiving. This year, we stayed at Magnolia and we were not disappointed. The house was well stocked with every-thing we needed. We loved the different sitting arrangements that afforded all of us a place to escape from the chaos, when necessary.

Wife’s 40th birthday was a success!

This place was a fantastic experience to celebrate my wife’s birthday with some close friends. The rooms were well appointed, the kitchen was great, the game room was neat, the fire pit was the center for our fun times. The place is super close to Swallow Falls, which was beautiful. Definitely recommend the property and want to plan our next visit!

Deep Creek Chaos: A Family Getaway with Laughs, Lakes, and Likely Mishaps!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia House, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely stunning! It’s so spacious that you can find a place to hide from family drama or simply enjoy a good book without being interrupted—perfect for our crew! My partner and I brought his two adult children, my two adult children (along with their significant others), and our 4-year-old dog who loved the spacious outdoors. We played a lot of games, grilled like pros, used the fire pit to make smores, and spent some quality time together exploring the lake. We hiked Swallow Falls State Park, which is a gorgeous trail and waterfalls and rented a pontoon for the lake one afternoon. The Magnolia House has everything anyone could ever need—rumor has it they’re even adding a tiny screwdriver for families like ours who manage to have the batteries but not the means to get them into the game! We had beautiful weather and took the opportunity to hire local photographer Jessica Fike. She captured our family in the stunning backgrounds of the house and the lake, which was just perfect. And let me just say, we had an unexpected highlight: a night walk down to the lake where we stumbled upon the Northern Lights! We managed to catch some amazing photos, including one where the Big Dipper looks like it’s doing a little dance against the pink hues. The stars are also amazing at night. Overall, we had an amazing time and are definitely planning to come back. Magnolia House is a gem!

Great property, did not like management company at all

I do not like that they both charge you outside of vrbo, and make you go outside of vrbo to manage the booking. They said it is because VRBO is a third party booking site, but VRBO is the site i used to book, not their weird 3rd party website. It was very odd and I would avoid this company just for that in the future if possible. Other than that the stay was very nice, and did not have any issues.

Awesome stay!

We had an amazing stay at Magnolia. The house was beautiful and immaculate! We totally recommend anyone contemplating staying here to do so. Stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great bathrooms. The lake was close, with chairs provided on the bank to enjoy. Loved the neighborhood. A beautiful street to walk my dog every morning. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Dear Jodi, The tranquility of the surroundings, the breathtaking views, and the overall ambiance of Magnolia left me and my family in awe. Wonderful Escape

Nothing but positive things to say about our stay. The home is magnificent, surroundings are a dream, and access to the lake via the docks was perfect! Everyone from age 4 to 60 loved this little escape from reality. We plan on visiting again in the future!
