This was our first trip to Oak Island and the property was perfect for us! The location is ideal with beach access at our fingertips and the view as if we were on the ocean. The amenities were great. Definitely on our list as a return visit.

Loving Oak Island

This was my first trip to Oak Island and Dreamin’ By the Sea did not disappoint! This house was ideal for my family and stocked with everything we needed and more! The location is steps away from the beach, the views from the decks are beautiful, and the pool is amazing! The house was immaculate and the owners were very responsive.

This house is the most beautiful and cleanest house we have stayed in! Perfect location!! We have been to Oak Island for many years perfect for our family! Dreamin’ By The Sea is Spectacular!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the beach this week! The home is beautifully decorated, everything is fresh and impeccably clean. The views of the ocean from the deck are amazing. The kids especially loved the salt water pool, with lots of seating for those that don’t want to swim. The kitchen and appliances will impress a gourmet chef! Every cooking utensil, pot and pan & serving item is carefully chosen. Every drawer and cabinet is so organized and labeled, there was no need to “hunt” for a thing. The host also provides every beach toy, game, towels and sun shade that you could ask for. The closet where they are kept is wonderfully organized and labeled. Lots of books, games, and huge tv’s for a rainy day. Because there are two separate family rooms there is tons of space to visit after you get tired of sun and fresh air. We highly recommend this home for all these reasons and the property manager & owners quick response to our questions.

Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved the home. We did a lot of cooking and this kitchen had everything and was so well organized. Comfortable beds, great living and eating spaces, private pool, beach accessories- this place had it all. Nancy was very helpful and responsive. A quick walk to the beach and great views of the ocean made this a home we’d love to stay at again and again.

Family beach week

This house was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy the beach. Lots of beach chairs, a shibumi and a cool cabana, beach wagons, toys, and even beach towels. We only had to bring sunscreen. The kitchen also had everything we needed and then some. Plenty of room for all of us and nice that everyone had their own bathroom. Beautifully decorated, great porches with nice furniture, comfy beds, plenty of closet space and hangers. Cheryl thought of everything!

Great time!

Best Oak Island Rental

The is the best home we have ever rented through VRBO. The description was 100% accurate as well as the photos. Check-in was super easy and great communication whenever we had a question. This home literally has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Some of the highlights we loved were the coffee bar, two separate living spaces, outside beach and game closet and so much to choose from and super organized, pool, elevator, and being right across the street from the beach. It did rain on and off while we were there but there were many fun games, puzzles and books to choose from. Everyone in our group enjoyed every minute we spent in this beautiful home. We will definitely stay here again in the future. This one is a keeper.

Dreams come true

Great location and the house included everything we could have asked for a wonderful beach vacation. Organization of house items and beach closet was amazing and included plenty of fun activities for our week stay. Loved the beach and marsh views from multiple decks. Heated salt pool was also a big hit with children.

Best we've had at Oak

We go to Oak a couple times a year and have stayed everywhere...this was the best by a mile! You always wonder what to pack and if the house will have it...this house has it...from tents to games to coolers to ice packs for coolers they thought of every.thing. Awesome owner, very very helpful and quick to respond. Will stay here many many times more in the future!

Beautiful home exceeds all expectations!

First family trip to OKI, with 6 adults, 3 two year olds, 2 five year olds. This home was by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at!! This home is absolutely beautifully decorated in every room.. The bedding and linens were very comfortable, and each bedroom and sitting area had large tv for entertainment. The kitchen, coffee/wine bar was stocked with everything you could ever need to relax, prepare meals and entertain. Inside provided games, puzzles, books, etc for all ages! Outside and inside furnishings on every level are amazing! The outdoor shower, pool and guest closet supplied us with more provisions than we had time to utilize, including beach chairs, tents, carts, games, and toys! We all agreed that we highly recommend this home to anyone looking for five star accommodations as the owners did not leave out a single amenity and went above and beyond to provide everything you need for a memorable vacation! Thank you !
