When we first arrived at the home we noticed a ton of flies in the common areas…which was a little bit gross but something we thought would be fine. It wasn’t until we were touring the home and all of the bedrooms that we discovered hundreds of dead flies all over the carpet in the basement, especially in the two bedrooms and in the sink of the bathroom…it appeared the house was never cleaned downstairs. We promptly contacted VACASA and was told they would send someone out to the property to take care of the situation. No one ever came and we kept calling and messaging vacasa the entirety of our trip with no solution. It appears this is a COMMON problem as there was fly spray in various rooms. The guests that were supposed to stay in the bedrooms in the basement slept on the couch upstairs instead because it was so gross in the basement. We were so disappointed because of how expensive the home was and we expected it to be clean.
