Le Meridien is beautifully situated at the eastern end of Anse Vata beach. The beach access, lovely views and expansive areas to lounge by the beach and pool are fabulous. The staff are lovely and helpful. Please be aware that management has temporarily closed most of the restaurants and bars, so options are currently very imited. We also had to change rooms because our first room had too much black mould and triggered our allergies. Despite these issues, we had a lovely time overall.

The breakfast buffet was very limited and lazy. Even though the hotel was far from full sections offering window views were cordoned off to clump diners together. The hotel is looking rundown. The garden view from my balcony was obstructed by a large platform. Dirty glasses were not removed from my room, and mopping resulted in very wet and slippery bathroom floors. Several times I slipped and nearly fell. One night there was a huge party with the band noise sounding as if it was on my balcony. The manager on duty agreed and at 11.15pm I had to change rooms as the noise was expected to continue until 2an. . I also had to change rooms at 1.15am last night because of noise coming from within the walls. Apparently it was lizards, they sounded like baby birds, cute, but disturbing. Mona the manager is endeavouring for me to be recompensed for one of these nights and kindly offered me a dinner. The reception staff were friendly and courteous.

We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very helpful and friendly, despite the language differences we managed to get everything we needed. The concierge helped with bookings which was wonderful because not all the transport/tourist companies had english speakers. Greatly enjoyed having a cocktail and watching the sunset and kite surfers.

Only one restaurant out of three was open. Breakfast was lacking in choices and the machine cappuccino was terrible. Otherwise, our room was absolutely stunning overlooking the ocean and the beautiful grounds. The pool is fabulous and well-maintained.

The hotel is quite lovely and has some charm, staff are lovely, but is very dated and in not great repair. TV services are limited to a few channels and old Westerns and romantic movies. The bed was comfortable, transport was an issues, not the fault of the hotel, due to it being away from the city you needed to get a cab, bus services sporadic and not clearly marked. The beach area is lovely, and the outside complex very resort like.

The concierge was extremely helpful. The staff were friendly and attentive. Sitting between the pool and the ocean is an enjoyable place to take in the view the food and drink and the sound of people enjoying themselves. The rooms present well and have great views.

Great hotel. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Unfortunately not all services are back to normal, especially restaurant which meant we had to eat outside which was fine but not always convenient. Grounds are beautiful. Not all the sun beds had cussions. Some facilities remain closed. It apears staffing levels are low. But staff are friendly and helpful. Very kind.

This isca terrific hotel and for us the only place to stay in Noumea. So many good things, great pool and beach facilities, lovely King room with sea views, marvellous breakfast buffet, close to Anse Vata restaurants and bars, and a short walk to the Grand Casino. Best of all great service from all the staff, Baptiste Exec Chef, Maya at reception, all the staff at breakfast, at the beach bar and restaurant, and housekeeping..
