Communication and check in is abysmal. I booked and paid for this reservation months in advance. I was given EXPLICIT instructions to follow -including contacting the property manager a week before we arrive, via whats app. As instructed, we messaged the property manager - but got no response - we tried for days, finally writing to the Conch'd Out Team (Onwers names are not given) - confirmed I did have the right number, and then I got a message from the property manager. She asked if I would like a whats app "pin" with directions to the house. As the island is very dark at night, with not much in the way of street lighting, and minimal street signs - I was grateful and said YES PLEASE! I was also told that i would get a "code" to get into the property prior to arriving. Neither happened. Upon arrival, I texted via whats app, the property manager. Again asking for a PIN - She said ok -and never sent one. It was getting darker by the minute, we had a map, so we decided to try to find the house. After an hour, we found it, or what we thought was it -It was the Conch'd out Cottage and there were people already there!!! Again, we tried to reach the property manager, and she told us we were at the wrong house -So we went to the next house up. We had no way to get in. I called the property manager AGAIN - finally got a code. Rental cost was over 3K -- check in was unacceptable. If you rent, make them give you the code and directions BEFORE you get on the plane.
