Probably our 3rd stay at this location as we're doing work in the area. With the days getting warmer, longer, and the time change, the property has been really nice to stay at. Beautiful area around the property

Clean, roomy, and rustic location. Easy to find and get to. Split between 4 co-workers. Huge, shared living area (living room and kitchen) is great for chilling out and relaxing after work.

This home has has everything you need,outdoor space,hot tub which we needed after hiking at Bass ...

We loved the front yard all the fruit trees, the barn and we got to walk around all the property and take pictures of the beautiful scenery. We even got to see a pair of deers eating of the fruit trees. we loved it.

Good location which was close enough to enjoy Yosemite.

The property was well taken care of in a private setting. There was a problem with the hot tub not being cleaned which was quickly rectified.

When we arrived, the door code did not work. A quick call to customer service got that corrected with ease. The location was great. The house was clean and stocked with the essentials. I'd choose this house again.

Relaxing

We have a family of six and the home fit us very comfortably. It is laid out well and has plenty of space. The owners have arranged things so that guests don't need to stress. We visited Yosemite and Bass Lake while we were there. We especially enjoyed winding down evenings with games that are available in the closet. Overall a safe and very enjoyable experience.

A Solid Choice!

The spacious beds and the open scenery is perfect for a group looking for a change from hotels. There is only one TV; a small one in the living room, but if that is not an issue for your party then this spot will do wonderfully. The spa also has a decent bit of space for a group to relax in (do remember to unlock the spa before use, and clean it thoroughly after each use!) Unfortunately the house is also quite some distance from the Lake and Oakhurst, so if you’re not willing to do a minimum 20 minute drive to either then this is not a place to rent. Overall a very pleasant house to stay in. Would recommend for parties of 4 people to a maximum of 7-9.

Great place! Few issues though

This place was fantastic for our two families which included kids from 1 to 16. It rained the whole time but the house provided a great place to hang out and do games and activities. Very cute decor and lots of comfy places to sit. The one thing that was a bit of a pain is the oven didn’t work very well… it couldn’t maintain a consistent heat and didn’t always hit the target temperature. There was a few things that could of been cleaned better or fixed (broken towel bar in the master bathroom). Other than that, this place made for an awesome vacation, will stay here again!

Almost Great!

This is a wonderful property and our stay was almost great if not for a few hiccups that were taken care of in due time. The access code for the front door didn’t work upon arrival. Vacasa responded quickly and sent us a new code. Although there are two master suites only one has an en suite bath. The other is in the back of the house and requires a walk to the other side of the house. The bathrooms are tiny but functional. Temps were in the 40s at night during our stay and unfortunately the pilot light was out on the water heater! We had no hot water in the house our first night and day. Vacasa sent a maintenance person who took care of the problem that afternoon. It’s a beautiful property with great views but only one tiny TV and really slow wifi. It was a challenge for all 7 of us to watch Home Alone without squinting. Otherwise, everything was great! ;-)

Good house. Nice view of the mountains. Big bedrooms. Only if it the 4th bedroom had an attached bathroom, it would have worked with 2 families/extended family. Aluminum foil, zip locks, paper towels was missing.

Love this home!

Putney Place is a gem! From the moment we walked in we were in our dream home. Very spacious and comfortable. Kudos to the owner for decorating the home in a very ranch house vibe. I cant say enough about the beauty of the home in general and am taking away tips for a remodel at my own home. It is that perfect! The back deck and hot tub are amazing! There is lot's explore, Yosimite Sugar Pine Railroad is a must for all. From gold panning to the rich history of the logging era. Conductor Mike spot on. Vacasa made the whole experience smooth from booking to check out. We look forward to our next visit at Putney Place!

Great Stay

We needed a 4 bedroom home to stay for a wedding at the Lyn Mar Pond and this was a short drive from there as well as a short drive to have dinner at Bass Lake and there is the town of North Fork less than 5 minutes away that has a coffee shop and grocery store which was very convenient. The house was remodeled and very comfortable. Having 4 bedrooms was great for our group size. I would highly recommend this place.
