Very convenient to town

The property had everything we needed and a wonderful location close to town. At night you can see the slopes of Cranmore through the trees!

Great family weekend

Our family of 8 had a great weekend! Location of the home is perfect, close to all North Conway attractions and a short drive to Jackson. The home was clean and had all the amenities needed. Would definitely book again.

Great time

This place has very comfortable beds, AC in every room, and TVs in all except one room which is so great. The house had every appliance you could think of which was so Fantastic. The only down side I would say is the dryer would not dry clothes and the house was musty…so bring an air freshener or spray and you will be fine. Is it a small slightly steep hike to the river but the location on the Saco is so nice. We had a great time and thank the hosts very much for opening their home so we could enjoy their property.

Great New Year Stay!

Stayed for four nights to enjoy some skiing and the New Year. The house was perfect and very comfortable for three adults and one 4 year old. Great location, close to all the shops/attractions/restaurants yet very peaceful and relaxing. Our host always responded quickly whenever I contacted him. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying here again!

Perfect location and wonderful home

Easy in, easy out. The home is located near town but still private. It was easy to get to without going thru town all the time- which can be somewhat crowded at times. It Elsa’s near the highways we need to use to go see Lake Winnapesaukee as well as the Franconia notch area. The home itself was plenty roomy for our family of 5. I look forward to visiting again!

Location is just outside North Conway. Makes a great place to stay and drive to the White Mountains and surrounding areas. Had one little problem and the owner took care of it immediately! Just felt like home with all the amenities you need

Worth Every Penny

We arrived to a superior house. Great locations, lovely kitchen, generous space and everything you could need for a family to enjoy a relaxing week. We had great informational interactions with the host, even mid week. He was polite and quick with a reply. Wonderful clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay in the White Mountains

I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone considering a stay in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We stayed for a week in the summer to hike and spend time outdoors and appreciated the quiet and privacy of the location but it's also only a very, very short drive to the main resort area in North Conway so you have the best of both worlds at your finger tips. The house was perfect for a family or group because of the combination of a main level bedroom and two upstairs bedrooms with full bath facilities on each floor. There's plenty of room for group activities and a separate den area that let's the group separate when some members want quiet while others are playing a game or just talking. The kitchen and eating facilities were extremely clean and organized - the best we've experienced across our ten stays at VRBO-listed properties - and encouraged family style dining to help us eat both better and more healthily. (But North Conway and it's selection of good casual restaurants are just across the river for nights out or those who want to avoid cooking on vacation.) We'll stay here again when next we're in the White Mountains!

Great house, minus 1 issue

We stayed for a week in mid July. The house is nice, spacious, well equipped, and very clean, in a nice remote setting, but minutes from many great attractions and downtown North Conway. Jim was responsive and the booking was easy. The only issue we ran into- which may not be a big deal for some- was we saw 2 mice inside the house during our week there. The 1st time was our first evening there, and we called Jim right away. He mentioned that mice were a common issue in the woods and that it was normal and he does preventative maintenance for them. He had a wildlife prevention specialist out there 36 hours later who spent many hours sealing out the outer perimeters of the house so more mice couldn't get in (he didn't come in the house). Then, late on our last night there, we saw another one. Jim's response again was that this was par for the course in the woods. While it didn't ruin our stay, we were on edge and I wouldn't let our young kids play on the floor. If it was just my husband and I, we would have left immediately upon seeing the 1st one, but with 2 young kids, a carful of gear already unpacked, and family members visiting later in the week, we couldn't just pack it all up and go to a nearby hotel. I offer this feedback not to discourage you from staying in this nice home, but so you are aware of the "woodsy" aspect of the home. We would've given this home 4-4.5 stars if it weren't for our experience with the mice.

Peaceful

This was our families first trip to NH. The house was wonderful for the six adults and granddaughter. We love to hike and was able to do so everyday. The location was perfect closes to shopping and restaurant's. Thank you Jim for answering all my question prior to our stay in your lovely home. Again thanks for letting us make beautiful family memories in your beautiful home.

Beautiful mountain home close to everything

A great family vacation!

What a wonderful experience we had! We had two families and not once did we feel crowded. The pictures don't truly let you know how spacious it is inside! The owners couldn't have been nicer and more helpful!! When we arrived we realized we couldn't get the Red Sox games so Jim called and upgraded the cable! The kitchen is beautiful and had what we needed! It's off the main road and private but close to many of the local activities. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location and Great Home

I just want to thank the Berry's for such a great vacation rental. My family and guests arrived to find the home in immaculate condition, everything fresh and clean. The home was more than comfortable for my family and friends that joined me for the week. Spacious bedrooms and baths, great kitchen, great recreation room, washer/dryer all the fixen's of home. It is located just a couple miles from anything you want to do In the White Mountains and North Conway area. We brought our trailer loaded with motorcycles and experienced some of the best riding in NH and Maine - See you next year - Andy H
