The whole stay was perfect for our family. The workers at check in and out were both friendly and even gave us some information to take our son beach wise where he is autistic. They also accommodated us and put us on the bottom floor so the juds wouldnt disturb others which i was so thankful for!

If you’re looking for a comfortable hotel experience. This is not the place to go. If you’re looking for partial apartment experience where you need to bring everything. Make sure to bring your linen. Ours had hair in the bed. Mildew spots on the pillow cases and extremely limited on towels. The television in our room didn’t work and there’s a switch in the front room that turns the light off in the entire room. So if you make a quick trip to the bathroom and the light doesn’t come on. This is probably why. No one told us this. I now have a better understanding of an extended stay and a hotel. They are NOT the same. I will never book a place like this again. It was not for me or my family.

Smoking and cleanliness problems

This is a no frill hotel suite. The facility advertizes no smoking and makes you sign a no smoking statement at check-in. I smelled smoke when waiting at the elevator to first go to my room. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke which was initially hidden by an open window. My son witnessed guests smoking from a hooka in the courtyard. The carpet felt like it had a greasy film on it. I found a cigarette butt under the bathroom sink and my son found a broken comb in the closet - items that should have been found by a standard cleaning between guests. The open concrete "hallways" were dirty. The room layout was good and the bathroom was well-designed.

Initially, check-in was nice and smooth. Staff was courteous, but along the way to our room, I’m immediately noticed the interior of the property could use some housekeeping. For a new property, it had a stale, unpleasant odor, and it only got worse in the elevator. The set up of the room was nice but definitely needed a good, thorough cleaning. Hair in the tub, dirty handprint stains on the bathroom door and light switch, stained sheets that we reported but were never addressed or replaced, extremely limited kitchen amenities, and no staff on site to address any of these concerns.

The GM & owner are very nice. Our room was missing some of the needed kitchen items but they were very quick to replace the things that were not there. We were a bit disappointed when our room was not cleaned the one time they said they would clean it during our week stay. They should at least sweep/vacuum the floors, empty garbage twice during a week stay and replenish toilet paper. All in all, we do recommend staying here. It is a newer place and felt safe staying here.

This stay checked the two most important boxes for a hotel stay--comfotable accomodations and pleasant staff. We checked in about 1/2 an hour early and the front desk staff and housekeeping worked to make it possible and were extremely personable and pleasant. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've experienced and obviously freshly cleaned. The bathroom fixtures were spotless, but the fan was overdue for a good vacuum. Although the kitchen was functional, there were no forks or any sort of baking pan (probably stolen by previously guests). I had brought forks, but we couldnt heat up our snacks. Even though our room looked out at the highway, it was not loud or distracting, but there was some sound carrying from within the hotel.we didn't use the courtyard, but it was a cute feature. It was a ways out of town but convenient from the highway. Overall a great place to land for a few days.

It eas my first time in Charleston and my first staying on your property. The staff was very helpful to my needs. Logan was very professional and polite he gave me information regarding what to do and restaurants close by. The general manager was very professional as well and greeted you with a smile. Place was clean. Check in was easy. Noise level was tolerable. There was quite a bit of loud stomping from above. If you plan on staying a few days, I would recommend bringing a cheap broom and dust pan, dish towels, paper towels, and hand soap.

All in all the property was ok, and for the most part, clean, and the people helpful. However we were shocked every time we came into our room that is smelled like smoke and was stuffy even with the air on, and this is a smoke-free property. Also, when we first got to our room, there were stickers on the windows and the walls, holes in the bedroom wall from pictures that had been hung, pushpins around the the rooms. So in all, yes, the property was "clean" just not throughly cleaned up after the previous tennents.

Charleston trip 3/27-4/1 2025

Pros We got to check in an hr early. Got a ground level as requested. Easy parking and felt safe Nice if you want to be left alone and not bothered Michelle the manager is really trying to fix the place up , got us anything we needed and made us feel at home . Logan was great with helping us when we needed extra tp, Towels or trash bags Cons Had to move rooms. Door was broken and couldn’t get in and out without using muscle .A lot of stuff such as cups and silverware are missing from the rooms Needed a plunger in middle of Night, thankfully there was one in the hallway rest room but no staff is available after 5pm weekends and 8 on weekdays. Called left message was called next day Asked cleaning staff for new sheets bc I spilled my drink on mine from falling asleep with it in my hang ,the ladies who clean huffed and puffed as they said “ they were already on my level “little did they kno I had a tip for them going out of their way and check out was bout 45 mins prior so I know cleaning wasn’t done that fast so I got them to give me sheets and I did it myself Overall I would stay here again issues were fixed promptly and Michelle credited us a night back bc my husband fixed a cabinet door. This place was hidden off the man roads and quiet. If you like to be left alone and bring necessary things like soap, paper towels and i recommend paper plates ,cups & bowls.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with our first room and the lady at the front desk did all she could to find us an alternate room. Our room floor was filthy, to the point that we work our shoes at all times or our feet would turn black. There was some noise from the highway and other renters but the courtyard and outside areas were clean and tidy.

Big mistake

It was an overnight stay to be near Trident Hospital for a procedure early in the morning. We were put in the last room on the first floor next to a gate that you can exit to the parking lot. The entire time it was noisy, doors and gates slamming, people walking past or lingering at our windows at all hours, upstairs neighbor coming in late and very little insulation to help with the noise. People back and forth with their dogs next to our door. Our bathroom was not cleaned well, found a razor protective cover behind the door, the shower curtain had dried blobs of what I hope was shampoo all over one side of it. The mattress has a simple thin sheet covering it so transparent I could see the design colors of the mattress. Thats pretty gross that there is no protection for bodily liquids to the mattress. The cabinet under the sink hardware was broken and to finalize it all I stepped in dog crap walking to our room. Needless to say we did not get any rest prior to this heart procedure and I would never stay there again. Might be good if you need to live there for a length of time but the competition down the street is a better option for over night.
