We cannot recommend this property. It was very sparsely furnished, with mostly thrift style furniture, cookware, containers for cooked food storage, no blankets, had only 4 towels and 1 wash cloth at check-in. Needed a more thorough cleaning and needed decent broom and mop for cleaning during our three-week stay. No end tables in TV room, 2nd-bedroom nor lamps for either. No grab bars in showers, no closet in the Master bedroom. The master bathroom had an inoperative outlet, and upon calling the owner, he came and fixed the outlet, as well as the inoperative deadbolt in the patio doors in the master bedroom. The seating area by the pond in the ad is unusable due to hurricane damage from approx. 2023. A blue tarp is still on the roof and the hallway ceiling shows damage. This property is old and rundown, and difficult to get in and out of as it sits on a four lane 45 mph road. We believe this property is not up to VRBO standards.
