Everything was beautiful about this hotel at Niagara Falls. The only setback was housekeeping not doing a hospitality check to replace amenities you pay for each night such as coffee and a bed made and garbage removed. I was told they will only come in after four days and you have to ask for coffee replacements every morning. A five minute hospitality check of the room would’ve turned this into a five star hotel for me.

It was my husband and mine‘s 25th anniversary! The hotel was very beautiful. The views were gorgeous. The staff was all very helpful and considerate. The only disappointment was housekeeping. For the price per night I would have thought coffee refills would have been replaced, and the bed made. Just a basic hospitality check. So welcoming after a long day of touring and seeing sights . We had all of our things put away and garbage collected into one bag so they didn’t have to spend a lot of time in there. It was so disappointing hospitality didn’t show up. Housekeeping told me they will only come in after four days to tidy the room. You have to call and ask for coffee replacements to be brought up every day, which I feel should be a courtesy for each night you stay in the room. Not something the guest has to continually ask for. The embassy suites absolutely would have been a five star hotel had they have just taken five minutes to make the bed and replace the coffee and remove the bag of trash.

Fallsview rooms are a scam

We paid for fallsview and the first two rooms they gave us looked at a building and to see the falls, you would have had to be sitting in the far corner. We were about ready to walk out. They said they'd charge us an extra $50 for an upgrade, but why upgrade when you didn't get what you paid for. After a lot of arguing, they finally gave us a room up high with a partial view so we took it. Beware, if you get anything below floor 20 you will be staring at a building. We paid almost CDN$300 a night to look at a building, but finally got changed. In the end, to get a proper fallsview, it would have cost well over CDN$400 a night. Keep in mind this was midweek in January!!

The room was quite dusty and triggered my allergies. Once we opened the window it was much better air flow. View was beautiful and had great amenities.

Hotel Service is top notch, front desk a little aloof but everyone else over the top. Room views are wonderful if you pay for them. (pay for them) 5 Stars for the view and location. It's Niagara Falls and everything is expensive, the coupons they provide help. $70 for indoor self park is a surprise for some people. Beds comfortable but our room had a odd smell when we first walked in. Major drawback in January is no hot water. The water coming out of the tap is rediculously cold, like they pumped it up from beneath the ice on the river. Could never get it to warm up to anything above tepid. This why I rated the property so poorly.
