The room wasn’t what I looked at online . The where fully booked although I had my reservation booked several months in advance , just wasn’t happy walking up several sets up a small staircase with two bags and across the street from hotel in adjacent building . Wasn’t the experience I was having in mind.

I stayed for 2 nights. My check in staff is very nice. The only problem I had was the bathroom fan and light. The fan cover dropped and the light turned off by itself a few times during my stay. The first time when the light turned self off，I was scared. Then this became Inconvenient.

Historic beauty in the Quarter

This hotel is amazing. The staff goes above and beyond, the location is perfect, the history is rich, and the decor is sublime. I can’t believe anyone would want to stay in a cookie-cutter hotel in this city, and this place is not that. Definitely coming back next year!

The location is great for being in the French quarter but far enough away from all of the chaos. The property is a small older hotel that looks like they created a bunch of separate rooms. The room we had was named after Fats Domino. We went to party on bourbon so didn't spend much time in the room. The room has multiple lights that didn't work, the toilet wouldn't flush well, the tv remote never worked, the outlet behind the bed side table didn't work so we moved the furniture to have a working outlet for our phones. Room service did a nice job with cleaning the room. We requested them to fix these issues but none of it was corrected.

Okay stay

Our stay was ok at hotel st. Pierre. There was a large gap around the door, so some bugs did come into our room, I think around that gap. The a/c unit in our room was not working. Luckily, the weather was fairly mild, but it did make the room quite uncomfortable for sleeping in and humid. The building and courtyard were very cute and the employees were friendly. Location was also good.

The property was conveniently located. The room was small no chair, water pressure was non existent, room was drafty as the balcony door had a 1/2 inch gap between them and would not properly lock. No place to put luggage. Did not keep hot water for complimentary tea available all day. Iced water was not kept available. Had to go out to courtyard and in a hall for ice. Just not a good experience it was not a place you wanted to spend anytime except to sleep and shower.

I had a wonderful experience here! The staff were so kind, property was quiet, and my room was clean. I enjoyed reading about the history on the website while I tried to find which historic room I was in and also getting some research in about the musician on my door! Was an easy walk to Bourbon St and the river walk. Would stay here again!
