Loved my stay here, we stayed 2 weeks at the hotel and got to know some of the staff who were great. There is a buffet breakfast available till 9am every morning, and teas, coffees and hot chocolate are freely available to guest's throughout the day and evening. Facilities available are great washers and dryers available to use for like $3 each, ice machines on each floor, ( a gym, swimming pool are there but we didnt use them) The rooms are cleaned regularly, beds made, towels changed etc There was a concierge available to help with bookings and tours etc The hotel is near canal street where a street car can take you to the bottom of canal street where you can get another street car to take you to cafe.de monde or french market. There are buses you can get from conti and n.rampart on the corner by the church, which are really handy, that can take you to walmart or city library (to walmart or city library stand at the bus stop in front of the church, to go opposite direction stand at the bus stop at the corner at the side of the church) where you can get the E2 bus to the airport saving you $36 (from the airport its E2 bus, get of at city library then the 91 bus to n.rampart and conti) and the hotel is within walking distance of the hub of the french quarter, yet not stuck in the middle of it so the noise will effect your stay. The hotel is clean, staff are nice, local transportation right on the corner, handy to everything you will need.

The room was decent. I requested room service for them to clean and that never happened. I liked that we were a 5 minute walk away from bourbon street and other cool things to see. When we showed up we had to wait like 5 minutes for the person who would check us in that was disappointing. The staff were medium friendly some greeted some didn’t. Some seemed to be just there for a pay check. Turns out there was a dead body found in the building a few days before the stay. On our last night NOPD was on our floor down the hall talking to a guest. That was off putting. When we showed up to the hotel there were 3 NOPD cars lit up right outside the lobby. We were given 0 reassurance that everything was okay when we went in. Considering a body was found a few days before, this was a little concerning. I’m writing this from the Westin. If you have some money go to the Westin. I just got here, everyone greeted me and the room is NICE. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the TV remote didn’t work when we got there. There were no forks in the suite. The breakfast was ‘Alright’ thankfully we only had it once. But you know if you’re tight on cash. And you just want to party and need to sleep. It’s cool for that. You can get drunk and walk back no problem. And the staff ain’t gonna bother you. So shout to them for that. I didn’t get drunk though. There’s also a cemetery not too far away that was a little off putting for me. But if you’re in to that kind of thing, cool. Good luck.

I love stay at this property when I visit New Orleans. The staff is so nice and helpful from check in to checkout. The convenience of the location and cleanliness makes this property my first option when I plan a trip to the city.
