We booked a non-smoking room for one of the Wurstfest weekends. They insisted Expedia booked a smoking room, but Expedia assured they have the non-smoking room confirmation.
Turns out they tried hard to also get their smoking rooms rented out as another customer reported some phone call asking them if they’d be OK with a smoking room. After some fuss, lecturing us about better to book directly with the property and asking us to pay extra for our original booking, they “found” a room with two double beds rather than the king size we booked. So beware, not a trustworthy place!
The room itself was largely clean and the beds reasonably firm, but the small fridge on the floor had some bad dirt underneath when we accidentally moved it. Not cleaned in ages, looked like cockroach-droppings among the dust.
