Long weekend getaway with old friends
We were underwhelmed to begin with. We dropped off all of our luggage and cooled off and had to head out for a show at the Ryman. So, we didn’t get to check out everything in the room really good until we got back around 1am. The toilet wasn’t bolted down. So, every time you sat down we worried that it was going to flip over. The bathroom sink and shower didn’t drain. So we had to brush our teeth in the kitchen sink. We had to take quick showers standing in water. Gross! Then, when we pulled the covers back the bed was DIRTY! It was filled with long hair, dirt and dog hair! The fitted sheet and mattress cover had pee stains on it! We had to wash all the sheets at 3am and didn’t get the bed remade until 5am to finally get some sleep! How’s that for your first night of a vacation? Then the next 2 days we had to lock our valuables up in our suitcases because maintenance had to come in and out to try and fix drains and the toilet. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a VRBO! I would not recommend staying here to anyone. There is a reason this place is cheap. We tried to get them to reimburse us. They have avoided it. I’m getting in touch with VRBO. They should refund for at least part of our stay.
