1 of our rooms was not ready so they did give us a different room but it did not have the kitchenette in it. And we paid for it anyways. Elevator was a bit scary. After we got off it they shut it down.

We arrived at 8:30pm and check in was 3:00pm. We received our keys to the room and went on our way. Got to our door and the 'Do NO Disturb' sign was displayed. I knocked, then used our key to our room. Opened the door slowly and seen empty beer bottles on the counter and the bed unmade. Obviously this was occupied or not cleaned. When riding the elevator done, the group said the other elevator stopped working and this one 'jumped'. Told the man at the counter what had happened and he said they were running behind and I just needed to be patient. I asked for a refund when we were told by the shuttle driver, who was told to go check out a different room, that it smelled like smoke. Ive never wrote a bad review but this place had great reviews and after this plus the cockroach in the lobby. I felt others traveling and passing through had a right to know when choosing a place to stay!

McDonald’s needs to get their self together. Closed the inside and when we went through the drive through WHICH WAS NEXT TO THE HOTEL AND WAS INCONVENIENT. Then when waited 15 mins for them to say invalid and then we went somewhere else

My friend's car was broken into in the hotel parking lot and some minor belongings were stolen. The receptionist at the front desk seemed relatively unbothered by this (almost like it happened frequently on the property) and the written signs around the parking lot indicated the same. While nothing valuable was taken, the hotel should be more proactive in addressing this issue, potentially by adding a Nashville police officer or private security guard to monitor the parking lot at nighttime. Also, any level of empathy or apology from hotel staff would have gone a long way.
