Half of the staff were amazing, however the other half were very rude and unhelpful. We experienced this throughout the hotel, bar and restaurant. The food in the hotel restaurant was average at best as well as the mixed drinks at the bar. Walking across the street was a great treat with a large variety of options in the restaurant Plaza. This was our first time staying at the hotel and we quickly learned from talking with guests that stay there often that they did not recommend eating in the hotel and recommended going elsewhere. Many of the guests shared they have been coming there for over 10 to 15 years and that the service has gone down tremendously in the past couple years.

They were doing construction when we were here. Otherwise we recommend staying here. It's a nice mid level alternative

I really expected better from the Marco Hilton. The master bathroom toilet was broken, the toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall, and several door stoppers were missing or completely off. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, yet it clearly smelled like smoke the moment we walked in. To top it off, the coffee machine didn’t work in the morning—one of the simplest things a hotel should get right. For the price and the Hilton name, this stay fell well below expectations. I won’t be returning unless they seriously improve their maintenance and quality control.

The service was great...staff was polite and helpful, accessibility to beach and pool was convenient, towel check-out was smooth and organized, and breakfast buffet was fantastic.
