I loved staying here during my short stay in Naples and I will definitely be back! Yes, it has fantastic views, and a brilliant garden that you can use while you stay, but it was the staff that really made the difference. A fantasticly warm welcome, and help throughout my stay. Can't rate them highly enough!

We stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are large and clean. It was a rare experience to stay in a monastery and the views from the top floor were amazing. Breakfast was also OK. Being from the UK it was hard not to have tea making facilities in the room. Also I found the reception staff hard to understand when asking for suggestions and directions. If you're gonna stay here be prepared to walk between 15-30 mins to restaurants or any attractions.

Budget friendly

Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. If you're on a budget, this is the hotel for you. No AC, rock hard beds, and hard to get to (cabs don't know where it is). Noisy horn honking in the mornings. Lots of options for public transport around however. Beautiful views.

The property is all that you need as a base to visit Naples , clean , helpful and knowledgeable staff , the one thing they have which must be the envy of places to stay in Naples is a lovely garden overlooking the bay of Naples where you can have breakfast on a nice terrace or when you return from the hustle and bustle and noise that is Naples a place to chill in peace with a glass of something whilst taking in the view of Naples ,The only down side which did not affect us was access to the property is on a steep incline with cobbled streets , which may cause problems with anybody who has mobility problems .

Gem atop of Naples!

Exceptional location to access Metro, funiculari, airport. Stayed one night, large, bright, comfortable rooms, high ceilings as in a monastery, had two balcony’s in our room. Location is very easy to get to Archaeological Museum, Plebescito Square, walking around Naples which we did all day and to get to dinner at a Michelin star restaurant nearby. Great breakfast of local fare and assorted coffees. Some walking required to get to hotel from street below but so worth it for the service, cleanliness and amazing view of Naples & Bay of Naples. Stunning gardens with full access. Federica checked us in, professional, friendly, took time to show us on map where to get a sandwich and lunch, catch the funiculari to the metro at Via Toledo to go to the Museum. We’re from NYC and used to the crowds, city sounds and bustle of activity in Naples. Driving is tricky, so we taxied to Casa Tolentino when we arrived, then went back to the airport to rent a car the next day when we leaving Naples to go to Sorrento. Close to airport, could have taken public transportation but opted to take taxi because we needed a van as we were a group of 6 people with bags; Casa Tolentino tells you to call them when you arrive from airport and we were given name of taxi van to call; Vincent our taxi driver was polite and helped us with our baggage, told us about the area, offered his card if we needed him during our stay which we did use the next day to get back to airport to pick up our rented car. Great!

This place is amazing, it is peaceful and serene just minutes from the noise and hustle of Naples. The fact they are helping disadvantaged kids is a bonus. The breakfast is great. We will definitely stay there again. I've already recommended it to other travellers.
