Beautiful Location Needing Love

Our group had a fantastic time! Overall, the property is fantastic, and the view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. The location itself is great for easily getting to the beach in addition to SO many fun activities and locations all within a 15-30 minute drive. Our main concerns were silverware… Many dishes had to be washed prior to use, and the knives available for cooking were rather dull. Wish we had access to a few more towels since there was only a washer and no dryer.

Beautiful Location just needs a bit of love

Centrally located to many stores and restaurants. Close to the beach. The house was right next door to the swimming pool. Beautiful marsh in back. It had a nice wrap around porch.

Looks good but was not

This is a nice place in an EXCELLENT area. I wish I could give a good review, unfortunately I can't. The staff that's in charge of keeping the property up to par isn't doing a good job.. Upon arrival the home appeared to be clean but once I did a walk through to sanitize myself I noticed a lot of things. 1. The walls were dirty with stains 2. The night stand in the first bedroom were covered in stains from spills that has never been cleaned up and there were stains and gum stuck in the carpet. 3. The comforter in the master bedroom was dirty and had stains as well as the spare comforter in the closet. 4. Under the cabinets in the kitchen had exposed wiring that was covered with black duct tape that was hanging. 4. The dishes weren't clean and some of them were rusted. The floors were not vacuumed. 6. The sofa chair's back cushion had an enormous hole at the seam. 7. The dining chairs were stained. And to top all of that up I seen two roaches. It was very disheartening to know that with covid the property was not clean and it was very distressing to see roaches. I did speak with someone from vacasa and they refunded me the cleaning fee and said that someone would come and address the problems but no one ever came. If all of those things were addressed this would be an ideal property for a vacation in Myrtle Beach.

If you want more of a peaceful vacation and not all the hustle and bustle this is the place!

It was a laid back place to stay which was very nice.

Never again

We have rented this cottage many times in past years, but never again will we rent this. Only plus is the beautiful view from the back deck. Cottage was filthy, floors, bathrooms. Washing machine broken, dishwasher missing knob we had to start with pliers, microwave blew up. Not enough chairs to sit on deck, in past there were 6 now only 3. So very disappointed to what this unit has become.

Great property that needs a little tlc

We enjoyed the location and the rooms were perfect for our girls trip with my mom and sisters. However, there were a few things that could’ve been better. The blinds in my moms room were broken so we used a blanket to cover the sliding door. The sliding door in the living room wouldn’t open. The furniture was a little extra worn. There was some trash and an earring left in one of the bathrooms. Upon leaving I looked under the bed to make sure no items were accidentally kicked under and left behind, and that area was very dirty (water bottle, gum pack, and other trash). All in all it seems like a good property with a poor cleaning/management company.

The appliances might need updated. Could not use wash machine because it leaks on the floor.

Stay was pleasant. Allowing golf karts is a must if one is to enjoy the beach.
