Excellent view but there were issues
This condo unit has an excellent location. It's a corner unit with a large balcony and outstanding view. It was very clean. Coastal Properties was the best management company we have dealt with. They promptly took care of issues and were excellent. The host did inform us of the $25.00 vehicle fee to park but didn't mention the $35.00 for trash bags we were required to pay by the hotel. We also were not informed that the hotel would not allow us to use luggage carts because we rented via VRBO and not the hotel. It was very difficult for 5 retired women (3 with walking issues) to carry into and out of the unit all of our luggage, groceries, etc. I offered to pay Sands Ocean Club to use the luggage carts and they again denied usage. As for the unit itself, the second bedroom is extremely small with 2 beds but no place to put luggage so we used the hallway for our clothing. The TV in the master bedroom had green lines on every channel and unusable. We had a stopped up toilet and an electrical issue which Coastal Properties promptly took care of. Bless them. Overall, we dealt with the issues but Sands Ocean Club caused us to feel like second class citizens because we rented via VRBO and not the hotel. For this reason, I won't return there. As for the condo host, I would fix or replace the TV in the master bedroom, fully inform your potential clients of all of the charges the hotel will make you pay, and the essentials the hotel won't let you use due to a VRBO booking.
