Check in was chaotic with staff members seemed annoyed with each other. Arguing about who was checking in who. The 3rd floor was filthy! The waits for elevators were long. The room looked run down ad neglected. Tiny towels at the pool area. Only one spot to get towels which was by water park. Did not feel very safe with drink loud people hanging out in halls by elevator. View was amazing but balcony’s neglected and dirty. Will not be back. 2nd time staying here and was definitely worse than the first stay. Will look for somewhere cleaner and more modern.

Check in was confusing. Staff seemed annoyed and impatient while checking people in. The location is great. Loved the view from our room. I wish the balcony door had a screen so you can enjoy the sea breeze and hear the waves. The balcony is very dilapidated and worn down looking. Ugly bars block out a good amount of the ocean view. The pools and vicinity to beach is great. They provide the tiniest towels at the pool area. Which are kept way over by the waterpark area. No where else. The 3rd floor was FILTHY trash everywhere. Each tower only has 2 elevators so very slow and long wait. The rooms have very few places to plug devices. Old phone that didn’t sit flat on the table. No smart tv. Just very run down looking. Small gnats on the walls and lamps.The bed was hard and had 4 square throw type pillows on the bed. The bathroom you could see into the wall above. We did not feel very safe. Drunk, loud people hanging out near the elevators. While outside we saw and smelled smoke even though signs saying no smoking anywhere. This was our second time staying here and we will never go back. Property has a ton of potential but I would suggest staying elsewhere.

I think it would have been a better experience if the weather was nicer. The room was very small and needed some attention. Fan in the bathroom was so dirty. Attention to detail is important. Overall it was a nice vacation.

The room was great. Check in was a bit long and I did not expect the extra charge of $30.00 for parking. The bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome. We enjoyed the hot tubs and three was a great restaurant within waling distance.

The hotel must have been wonderful at one point. But it is a bit tired. We had to fight with the room door just to get in and out. The views are great. The pools and hot tubs are well maintained but the rooms need to be refurbished.

Firstly the reservation desk individual was super rude. She kept talking over me. Secondly the 1st night that we got there the water to bathe with was lukewarm. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and stated maybe because they had a lot of occupancy, based on the basketball tournament that it was just above its bandwidth. So the next night when we got back from touring Myrtle, We went to take a bath in the Jacuzzi tub it was ice cold. I advised that it was ice cold.They said that they would send maintenance over. Maintenance literally walked in looked around walked out told me I needed to keep the water running for it to come from the boiler room up until the 8th floor. I did this I let it run for 30 minutes non-stop. Still ice cold. I then called they said that a supervisor would call me within an hour. No one ever called. When I called back no one answered the phone. I then called Expedia advising of the request for a refund. Only for Expedia to call the hotel. And them to advise that there will be no refund. The only thing they could give back was a parking fee we werent even advised of. I was booked until Monday, I ended up leaving Sunday morning because of this. They sent maintenance back out I no longer wanted to deal with the situation 2 hrs later. My patience had run out, I just knew that I would be leaving in the am. All of crown reef employees were not friendly not caring not empathetic not professional as a platinum customer I'd never recommend.
