Overall, a great stay. Unit was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. House was comfortable. Covered parking and ample beach items available to use. Owner communicated well and answered all questions. Checking in after dark is difficult do to little lighting. The driveway had solar lights but did not work. Walking into the home was musty, moldy kinda smell. We opened all the windows for ventilation and hopefully air it out. The master bedroom has sheer curtains over the windows so it didn't feel comfortable to undress in the room. And was bright once the sun came up. Only standing fans to circulate air. 3 total (in each room) only 2 worked. Highly recommend ceiling fans to cool off the house. In the bathroom there were no washcloths. We were only staying a couple of nights so these things were trivial. The shared laundry room was a plus except when we tried to do laundry the guests in the smaller unit claimed dibs and used it all night! Lol. Also, the guests were smoking in their unit so the smell was terrible in the laundry room and seeped into the kitchen/living space in our unit. Not pleasant. That is not the fault of the owner. We were happy with our stay. Quiet except for the frogs, which was kind of nice. Easy drive to VNP and very convenient to other areas near the park.
