Provencal Mougins Village House with Garden and Pool

A short 500 metres walk from historic Mougins village, this lovingly renovated village house has views down the valley towards Cannes. There are 2 bedrooms in the main house, a slightly separate large studio double master-suite and also small cabana room with bunk-beds. There is a large south-facing sun terrace, with seating and a barbecue area, and a swimming pool. The garden extends below the sun terrace to a large lawn suitable for ball games.
The house is comfortably decorated and fully equipped for easy living.

Wow, fantastic time!

Me & 7 others stayed for the Cannes Film Festival Period, the location was a short journey from central Cannes. The Villa was spacious and had a lot of space around the Pool and a lower garden region which was amazing for sports and relaxing. The host was very friendly and left us to our devices throughout the week. High recommend!

Maison bien située mais défraichie - propriétaire peu fiable et sans parole.

La maison est située à quelques mètres du centre de Mougins. L'emplacement est donc idéal, et la piscine, bien que petite (3,5m x 8m) est très agréable. Mais pour ce qui est de la maison, elle présente beaucoup de défauts pour une location de ce prix: - Accès à la maison: accès difficile, bien que la rue soit en double sens, on ne peut entrer dans la maison que par le sens de la montée tellement la pente et l'angle d'entrée sont importants. Si votre voiture est un peu basse, vous raclerez le dessous à chaque fois. (notre 5008 passait tout juste) - La maison est défraîchie: peintures craquelée, salles de bain vieillottes, joints noircis par l'usure, douches entartrées. Le lavabo de la chambre principale est même décelé du mur et bouge franchement. Les moustiquaires (indispensable, il y a beaucoup de moustiques en Aout) ne fonctionnent plus. Certaines ont été arrachées, les autres sont trouées. Attention, la suite parentale est indépendante (pas de communication avec la maison principale). A savoir si vous avez des enfants petits. La cuisine: le frigidaire est petit avec un congélateur dont la porte ne ferme pas ! il était plein de glace lorsque nous sommes arrivés ! Côté vaisselle, il y en a peu: il manque presque tous les ustensiles pour cuisiner (économe, rappe, robot, etc...). Autre problème: les lumières. Il y a peu de luminaires dans la maison. Certains ont des prises anglaises, mais pas d'adaptateur !!! Des travaux récents ont été fait en extérieur (sur la piscine) qui ont causé des dommages: plus aucune lumière ext. ne fonctionne. - Le confort : étage très chaud ! pas de clim - Accès Jacuzzi interdit, alors que c'est proposé dans la location! - Propriétaire peu fiable, qui n'a aucune parole et injoignable: à 2 mois de notre arrivée, elle a voulu annuler notre location car les jours ne lui convenaient plus! Nous avons du négocier avec elle afin de décaler notre séjour pour pouvoir le conserver (et perdre 1j ) . Echanges en anglais uniquement: ne falicite pas la communication. Enfin, elle nous avait assuré prendre les "chèques ANCV", puis nous les a refusé au moment de payer. Fort de ces deux préjudices, nous avons demandé un geste commercial;ce qu'elle a accepté, proposant de nous dédomager ( xxx €) en meme temps que la restitution de la caution. Mais elle n'a pas tenu son engagement. Et maintenant, elle ne répond pas à nos mail, ni à nos appels, ni aux SMS. CONCLUSION : Nous ne vous recommandons donc pas cette location. Déception assurée
