TLDR; The house is amazing, clean, comfortable, well appointed and in a great location.Bethany communicated promptly before our arrival and during our stay. This was our second time staying at this wonderful house. And while we were in Moscow for work, I would actively seek this beautiful home for a vacation to Moscow every time. Key Notes: Beds/Linens - Clean, comfortable and cozy. Amenities - Available, varied and accessible.If you're a reader, there are more books than you could ask for. If you like TV, there's a brand new one(streaming only). If you have kids that need a little hunt to be distracted, have them count the whiffle balls around the house (there are more than 10). The street parking is limited (and Jefferson St. is narrow), but it sort of makes you feel like part of the community. Garbage and Recycle cans in the alley behind the house, which are picked up Wednesday morning and are a required part of checkout, are easily accessible from the back porch.

Two co-workers and myself rented this home for two weeks while we were working on a construction project. The host is amazing. She was very responsive to the couple questions I had. The home is the perfect size for what three adult men needed as a resting spot during our work weeks. Everything we could need was provided. Clean dishes, a stocked spice cupboard, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer... All furnishings were clean and comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. By the third night I already had a whole evening routine. Very comfortable. Entertainment was available via television, books and a few board games. Street parking is a little cramped, but we were able to make it work. I didn't think to ask if parking in the back was an option. Overall, I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to be close to town and would like a cozy comfortable resting spot.

Enjoyable Stay

The house was easy to find and close to Main Street and U of I. We came to visit our college student and attend the Jazz Festival. Bethany’s house accommodated all of our needs and made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

U of I stay

We had a lot of family come to Moscow for state volleyball and this was a great location. Super close to U of I. There is not a full size fridge that kinda threw us off for meals, but other than that it was a good stay.

WSU Move In

My husband and I stayed while moving our daughter into the WSU campus. The house had everything we needed and an evening walk up into the neighborhood was enjoyable looking at some of the older homes.

Great property.

Great property, great owners. My wife loved that there were disposable shower curtain liners that looked like it was changed very frequently. Only thing I would recommend is a couple of window a/c units for when the summer temps start to climb. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet retreat

Needs a little yard work, cable or satellite tv would be nice and some air conditioning definitely needed during the warmer months. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

College drop off

We had a great stay in Moscow while dropping off our kid for college. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere. The neighborhood was safe. Communication with the owner and the cleanliness of the house was great. Very spacious place with a lot of sleeping areas. The only issue was we came during a heat wave and it was difficult to stay cool. The fans were helpful. Will definitely come back. Thanks.

Great Location in Moscow

The house is very cute and roomy. It is a short walk from a grocery store and from the main part of Moscow. It's just a little farther to walk to the University. I also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. While the rooms are nice, it's slightly inconvenient to have no bathroom at all on upstairs floor. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and utensils and the fridge was stocked with condiments and there was coffee and tea in the cupboards. We also appreciated the oranges. I especially enjoyed having some games including a Canadian version of Taboo with words in English and French.

Clean and met our needs

Friendly, communicative hosts, clean home. The downstairs bed headboard it’s not attached to anything, and it creates quite a racket when moving. There’s also no full length mirror, which normally wasn’t an issue, but we were there for a wedding, and as the only woman in the group, it would have been nice to have. Other than that I have zero complaints. The fact that there were a little extra condiments in the kitchen was a nice welcome surprise.
