We stayed during Costa Rica’s rainy season and were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade during check in. The service was great and the staff was very personal, remembering our names, room number, and even where we had sat in the restaurant for breakfast! Complimentary access to the nearby nature reserve was a great bonus, and we were able to spot coatis and an agouti during our stay. Highly recommended!

We were a party of 4 and had an amazing time at Koora Hotel. It was in a great location for hiking, ziplining, horse-riding, night hike etc. The Natura sanctuary was amazing. Only comment was that the Aguti trail could be better signed posted. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were also able to order breakfast early at 6.15 am as we had an early hike start. We would highly recommend Koora Hotel.

Koora was such a special place to stay. So many great things - the staff were so attentive and welcoming, the food was amazing and the wildlife we encountered just walking to and from our room featured armadillos, mischievous coatis, agutis and so much more.
